Just one last follow-up on this topic.

Finally, it worked and I was able to transact those 30000 sats. Conclusion: BlueWallet was working just fine.

I think that the assumption of @Rath_ was correct

If the receiver has more than one channel, your wallet might have found a path to a channel which had only outgoing capacity.

The receiver opened some more receiving-channels and my transaction went through.

Thank you all for your help!

I'm not a fan of telegram. As you say, too many PM's and scammers.
That's why I use it inside a VM, with a fake phone number.

I was also considering sending them an e-mail but i don't want to doxx myself.  Tongue

BlueWallet in combination with iOS produces this error. BlueWallet on Android was working fine. Weird.
Did you report it? BlueWallet is very active on Telegram (and so are scammers in that channel, so ignore all PMs).

I've had a discussion yesterday in another forum about this issue and we found out, that BlueWallet in combination with iOS produces this error. BlueWallet on Android was working fine. Weird.

Same problem here, ive been trying to recover my blue wallet sats by sending to my raspiblitz and its failing even at 100 sats and i have 500k remote capacity. i dont understand kinda crazy this thread was made yesterday.
i have a pi 4 raspiblitz with tor
My guess is the problem is with raspiblitz, not with BlueWallet. Try sending to another service to confirm which side the problem is on.

the receiver is asking
Can you share which service you're trying to use?

Oh thanks, but the receiver is asking for 30000 sats and my BlueWallet refuses to send and I cannot guarantee that I will be able to send you those sats back in small chunks.

@LoyceV: Success! Don't spend all at once Grin

So I know it's the liquidity on the path.
How about you create a 500 sat invoice from the receiver (so not your own BlueWallet)? Let me try to spend it all at once there Smiley
I've had mixed success with this in the past: if one wallet doesn't work, it sometimes gets through from another service.

@Rath_, @LoyceV: If you agree, feel free to drop me a PM with an invoice of lets say 500 sats and I will try to send it to you as a test and a gift Smiley
This is my Android Phoenix Wallet:

It's a better test if you create a payment request so I can return it, instead of making it a gift Wink

But I like the idea that maybe the liquidity on route to the recipient was not sufficient. That is one possible explanation.

There is also one more possible explanation. If the receiver has more than one channel, your wallet might have found a path to a channel which had only outgoing capacity.

Thanks, but I am currently using only BlueWallet, so the payment would go through for sure. I will message you once I finish setting up my c-lightning node.

I believe that BlueWallet has a separate error code for lack of routes.

I think in that case it says "Payment in transit" Quote: "This state happens when your payment was sent to the network, but it didn't get a response back."

I know for sure, that the receiver has enough inbound capacity so this can be ruled out.

For how long has the receiver had that inbound capacity? A few days ago, I encountered a similar problem when I was helping out another user with their c-lightning node. He was unable to receive payments from BlueWallet and other services for a few hours since he got inbound capacity.

Maybe there is no route with enough capacity between you and the receiver.

Maybe there is no route with enough capacity between you and the receiver. Can you try sending a smaller amount (say 5 sats) to test? Or try sending to another destination (for instance a LN casino) or Phoenix Wallet to see if that works?

I have no idea what I can do now to move my funds. Did someone experience this before?
I've seen errors like this, and usually it works again after a while.

Hello,

I have an issue with BlueWallet for iOS and don't know how to fix it.

Every time, I want to send a small amount of sat's on the lightning network, I get the following message: "API error: Payment failed. Does the receiver have enough inbound capacity? (code 10)" I know for sure, that the receiver has enough inbound capacity so this can be ruled out.

I'm not running my own node so the LN channel is custodial (standard settings after installation).

I have no idea what I can do now to move my funds. Did someone experience this before? Any advice for me?

Thank you guys.
