I've bought bonuses in the past because it's fun and you have potential to make a lot of money really fast. Does it usually work out? No. It's always fun though. Great point on this but for small bettors like us, we'd take our chances. One day when we have a huge bankroll, we'd buy bonuses.

I used to always use the buy in option as I believe the majority of games can only give you the max win only when you are in the bonus feature. I used to love it though as you say despite having huge potential for max win it has much more potential to make you lose the money in a more quick way compared to playing normally.
Personally it was super buy bonus that made me quit gambling as I bought 5 of them costing 500x my bet amount and returned me 14.75x in total so I don't gamble at all anymore.

If I were to buy a bonus buy on Wanted from Hacksaw and keep my bet size, I would have to pay $1,200 for the Dead Man's Hand bonus. This is obviously too much money, so if I buy it, I have to reduce my bet size, which also means I will reduce my potential winnings. Because of that, I’d rather try to spin into the bonus on a higher bet size.

It's like you really have the mentality of go all in or nothing when you go and take advantage of buy bonus. So it's like you don't want to have the fun and entertainment but just to win. So in my case, I have this mentality to deposit $100 and then take this buy bonus.
And like what others might have experience, sometimes it will double or almost triple your deposit so it's a win.

Not anymore. I did this many times before, (buying the bonus feature) but all I got was frustration on the multipliers that I will receive. After that, I just always ignore that there's a bonus button in every slot game that I play.
