Agree. From what I was able to find out, boom.cash relies on your phone number to determine that you are the rightful owner of the said fund. That means, if you lost your phone, you wont be able to access your funds until you ask your service provider to re-issue your lost number. Further more, sci.ph will have the sole responsibility in securing your funds. It works like a bank, if you ask me, you have to deposit btc which they then convert to fiat and you only need to text them to access your fund.

if you were using this to store your phone and using your phone at all edi wag dapat shushunga at maging responsable at itago ang phone mo Smiley

SCI.ph is a registered company with a liason and lawyer at hand so I'm sure legal at insured ang funds kung sakali mawala yung pera mo.

But there are inevitable circumstances that may happen even if you are not shushunga-shunga. Like what I've said, your phone number is the only way to determine the rightful owner but boom.cash could/ or should add more way to determine the rightful owner. They should have foreseen the inevitable. But then again, it's a new site (just registered last November and only updated this month) so maybe they are going to add some other way to determine the owner of such account i.e. password protected, pass phrase in the future. Because admit it, its a hassle to request a sim card replacement for prepaid users like me.

na-curious din ako and upon doing some search kay pareng google, I found that boom.cash is operated by Satoshi Citadel Industries or sci.ph, the same company behind rebit.ph
Since its an alpha software yet, medyo risky pa gamitin.
