Did anyone managed to get solomining on windows work? Smiley

Even if you can it's the same, forget about it:
{
"blocks" : 30,
"currentblocksize" : 1000,
"currentblocktx" : 0,
"difficulty" : 58.57427153,
"errors" : "",
"generate" : false,
"genproclimit" : -1,
"hashespersec" : 0,
"networkhashps" : 19998986,
"pooledtx" : 0,
"testnet" : false
}

is this correct?  block 30 diff = 58.75?

what block is it on now... missed this launch forgot about it.

CharityMiningPools - Donate to Charity while you Mine!

bcc.charityminingpools.com - NOW ONLINE!

1 Block Found, many more to come!

Come mine while making a difference.

Mandatory 0.5% donation fee goes to the BitGive Foundation this month.  We welcome and encourage you to donate more to a good cause.

SSL, STRATUM, VARDIFF, Datacenter Redundant Server Farm, Load Balanced Servers, Frequent Backups
0.5% Mandatory Donation fee to a Good Cause, 0.5% Pool Fee, 0% AP TX Fees

Who Are We?
CharityMiningPools was created to allow miners the ability to mine coins while still knowing that their hashing power is going towards something good.  Our goal is to provide a positive and reliable service while delivering a small portion of the proceeds to a deserving recipient.  Plans are in the works to allow individual miners to choose where they would like to donate to based on a pool of available recipients.

How Does This Work?
All coins minded at CharityMiningPools will require a mandatory 0.5% Donation fee.  This donation fee will be collected and donated to the designated charitable recipient for that given month.  Though we only require a minimum 0.5% Donation fee, we welcome and encourage our miners to raise the stakes and donate more to a good cause.

Cheers!

Great launch. It was fair and better than other coins. Good thing is that devps added KGW so that early miners will have the same advantage as late miners. And its a great advantage for CPU users too. I am mining it now.

no KGW big fail, diff retarget is too fast

Kimoto's Gravity Well is why the Current difficulty is 14.65

wasn't KWG supposed to keeps the diff low for a high number of block and then rise the diff after it?

if that is not KWG then that algo diff is a fail

diff should never shoot like that at the start, is just bad

http://bitcoin.stackexchange.com/questions/21730/how-does-the-kimoto-gravity-well-regulate-difficulty

than KWG it's bad, it should start after a certain amount of block, not from the launch

1 block diff retarget at start is atrociously BAD

It's adjust according to the amount of hash throw at it. If only two people were trying to mine it the difficulty would go up slowly but when you got a shit load of people and some GPU farms and rented rig and they think they can instramine it the KGW stops it from happening. It is working the way it was intended to. Which is to stop big farms and big rigs from taking all of the coins. Why do you think the Rudy Coin launch went to difficult 100 so fast or any other coins? Any coin that uses KGW will make the difficult shoot to the moon according to the amount of hash thrown at it.

GPU farms and rented rigs ARE taking all the coins NOW, think i'll come back when diff hits 10 or something, this makes no sense atm. Screw this shit.

then it is not what i thought

a good diff algo, imho should be like this

low diff at the start for the first 100 blocks(random number, just for an example) and then rising slowly based on hash, but at the start it should remain low no matter the hash, in this way everyone can mine something

Payment type: PPLNS
Pool Fees: 0%

Pre-register now and get ready for the launch

Settings for Stratum:
STRATUM:   stratum+tcp://stratum.boshi.pools.mindfox.net
PORT:   3343
Username:   Weblogin.Worker
Password:   Worker Password

If you use a command-line miner, type:

./cgminer --scrypt  -o stratum+tcp://stratum.boshi.pools.mindfox.net:3343 -u Weblogin.Worker -p Worker password

We are up and running for about 10 minutes. I was caught by surprise with the Mega download and had to install unrar to linux server and also install WinSCP to be able to upload the source rar file (I was waiting for the source to go up to github and lost about 15 mins while doing that).

I apologize to every miner that didn't have the chance to start right away to my pool. The pool is now fully functional and I'll be on top in case we need to rectify any coin's or stratum's glitches (with the GW we can't be careful enough Smiley )

Spread the hashrate Smiley
