I have given some suggestion on this my post https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.54015567 on how bounty managers could emulate julerz12 on his bounty campaign, how he eliminates spammers and scammers thereby making his job easier and safe.

This happens most of the times and I only but imagine what they gain from doing so when knowing fully well they will be banned. In cases like this the bounty manager knows the best, either to close the form and request more data which will filter bots or allow them then filter it gradually by asking for verification from participants, either way he knows how best to handle the situation so that those bots don't affect the good participants. The annoying thing is, people will continue using bots for such acts and it is the duty of the bounty manager to maintain order.

Ah yes, this happens way too often, especially when TG campaigns are involved.
Lucky for us (me in particular) it's easy to filter the bot out

It seems that the Bounty Manager is not ready for this situation and cannot anticipate it.
Too many fake participants registered.
There will be a lot of work to be done by the Bounty Manager.

This gift will become a den of fake participants if it is not immediately corrected and limited by registered members.
there are currently more than 6000 registered participants.

Check out registration time in spreadsheet. It took 15-30 seconds to register.
I’ve seen this “group” in Blockburn bounty campaign. All the bots registered in campaign in alphabetical order with little time-stop between registration. That helped BM much to mark then and ban after first week

In its spreadsheet has 5887 entries. So there are 5887 - 719 = 5168 fake/scam/bot entries.

I guess there are so many possibilities how could this happened but I'm thinking you could just limit the participants here or close the application if you reach a certain number of participants.

This could easily be done by bots, or maybe by the managers. But anyway the bounty could easily be managed by the manager so he could do remove a lot of participants here. I guess this is just normal at these times in a bounty campaign so I'm not really surprised what is happening here.
Aside from having a limit to how many participants can join, the bounty manager should set the google registration form a requirement of having only a single email.
It is true, the bounty manager can easily remove it but the hard part is on how he can easily determine the bots and the real one.

I was shocked by seeing those entries. Hacken is a reputed project so I wanted to participate in it but by looking at the spreadsheet, I stopped moving! Not only this, I saw huge bot attacks in blockburn twitter bounty campaign too. This is why the bounty manager should make a verification option in the joining form. I hope Bounty manager will take care of it, but his job will be very hard to remove all those bots!

The bounty manager needs to be aware of this, make sure you find the bounty manager and show him this proof, this shows that the bounty manager has no good experience

Bounties which doesn't care about the shady participants have high chance to be a scam bounty that is why we have lot of things needed to look before joining into a bounty. And of course there bounty manager is responsible to check and validate all the entries,if they do their work then these bots may fade away from invading bounty sections.

Even my information is used to sign up for other campaigns, this is really crazy

This is unfortunate situation. I have also seen my name on some spreadsheet while I wasn't participating and some I was. In such, what I do is to alert the BM and he would sort that out by removing the fake name. This not thing is getting so high these days in bounties.
Just like you, Someone stole my information and took part in airdrops and bounty on this forum. And of course they will be removed by the bounty managers, but to be honest, it makes me feel uncomfortable because they use my information for campaigns I didn't participate in.

I think that in the spreadheet was done by bots, actually only a few people participated in the bounty but the form has been rigged
of course this is very detrimental to the original participant
Agree with you, it will be detrimental to the participants and managers of these campaigns. They will take a long time to remove these fraudulent bots from their campaign, and it makes people not want to participate in these campaigns because bots are making things troublesome in spreadsheets.

it is hard to manager to determine which is the legit user's since there are too many participants join . They need review it manually which it need more time to verified each of every participants.

There is also chances that the manager doing the fake participants so they can allocate the tokena to fake people the allocated supply .which is also possible and to make it ook that there are many people participated in thier campaign.

That is very rampant nowadays. Bots are slowly taking over those which should have been done by actual members. That is not only prevalent here in this forum. Bots are also running wild in Telegram and social media sites and exchange platforms. Even bounty applications as well as weekly reports are done by bot obviously. Even campaigns that are already done are still pestered with bot reports and even applications. It is about time there must be done with it.

This bounty thread has only 719 views.

I want to see what thread poster will do with this problem and where this thread will go. Let's watch it with me  Smiley.
There are so many scammer using bots to attack bounty here, I joined a few bounty and saw thousands of fake bots registering for bounty. It makes it difficult for bounty manager to filter these bots in their campaign. Even my information is used to sign up for other campaigns, this is really crazy

This is a very typical occurrence.
In each company, the list of participants in the telegram bounty is estimated at 5-10 thousand or more, provided that the project carries out a telegram company.
At the same time, they are definitely bots, because they can be seen indiscriminately in all companies, even in those where it is necessary to fulfill additional conditions that bots are not able to fulfill.

Yeah these bots stay out of nothing. Originally it used to be the telegram groups which is flooded the fake bots with made up names who doesn't reply anything after joining. Now it seems that they are taking over the bounty threads and using that to do bounty hunting and increase the visibility of the projects.

That's would happen, If the setting of google forms not required a single email register.

So, they will be filled up with someone bot cause the form can be filled up with multiple times without being limited makes the bot pretty easy to spam the spreadsheet with his data.
