I think bots will try to dry every faucet since faucetbox is going down and faucets will die, in my opnion this bots make a lot of money with faucets lol at least they will have to find something new to do.
The only solution to get rid of them is to make email addresses registration.
And a little bit better -> with email verification.
For me a secure solution is:
Nastyhost/VPN/TOR/PROXY-check = OK -> register-button will appear ->register with btc-address and email (ckeck if btc-address or email is in database) and captcha -> email-verification (automaticaly) -> account aprovement (manual)
Nastyhost/VPN/TOR/PROXY-check = OK -> login-button will appear -> login with btc-address or email and captcha
Also just a weekly Payout (but this case isnt good for the member i.ex. because of a missing balance - and it makes an faucet-owner able to scam very easy) so that is time to check if there happens some suspicious things in that week and can clarify with the member.

Disable embedding your faucet in iframe from other domains
And try to block them one by one..
Where did you get the faucet script? maybe you have some backdoor that is why its draining. better to check your script maybe there is something backdoor to your script..
With blocking IPs is always this same story.. you will catch few main bots, and after week or two, they are coming back.

I also made "Anti Ilya F*cksow Igorf*ckeich" .htaccess file too
I hopefully blocked all of their IP ranes, but unfortunately, my players count dropped down by 30-40%

It looks like you are using FaucetBox script.. There is problem with this script, because bots makes loop of time and captcha is not working, even 2 or three captcha systems will not help. You can be lucky that you lost only 100k sat. Usually bots like this are cleaning faucets with 0.01 - 0.05 by one night.
If there is a problem with this faucetbox script why you dont tell the developer about it so that he can fix it ?

Yes banning countries will not help because they use VPN from all around the world.
If you have interest, have a lot of services here on micro earnings where you can block bots, you just have to search for it, actually Salmen have an Jquery script for $22 if I good remember that have an good protection.

Try to add recaptcha I think that this thing is really good to stop bots and they will not come again to your site to cheat you.

You have to put a lot more of ASN on blacklist to have success against bots...
Just put 1 satoshi reward and wait until the bot goes off to put the normal prizes again also you will got some profit from the unique views...
I can deal with my banlist - it was a try if it helps OP fast. And there are also other ways that can done via .htaccess
