Today i think i will release 1.3 Version.
I'm currently working on interface C.A.T. with BTCe.com

From next releases C.A.T. will becam Cryptocurrency Automatic Trader and users must choose wich kind of "package" they want to buy.
I Haven't found any solution better than this :
- A user wants to buy  C.A.T. only for Cryptsy
- A User wants to buy C.A.T. only for BTCe
- A user Want to buy C.A.T. only for anotherSite
- A User wants to buy C.A.T. for all three
etc......

So C.A.T. Will became multi-plaftorm with different price.

Hi C.A.T. users.
I have 1.3 Ready.

NEW VERSION 1.3

Now You Can Delete Or Update (Recreate) a Single Order or a Order To Restore, Request are processed during lookup so you have time to can change idea
There's a new file called NODECIMALCURRENCY.xml. You must put inside it currency Code (NXT,MN1) with no decimal quantity values allowed
Change and improve Some Log Messages
Add messages for event "Pong Trade To Buy Pool"
Remove Adjust Price/Quantity routine from market error order creation (now you can change Order Data And Set new values/evaluate error reason)
Some Code Part Reorganization to allow "easy" interface with other API site.
Some fix

Who wants to try? PM Me  Wink Wink

Makes sense.  Is there a possibility of a future release that may include loading environment settings?  Sometimes I restart C.A.T. because I'm unsure if it's running too slowly or if the Cryptsy servers are overloaded.

When C.A.T. Is slow is always because of Servers Overloaded Remember that C.A.T. sleeps 90% of his lifetime.....

If I close C.A.T. and open it later, then "Load Markets PingPong Parameter," will C.A.T. be able to ingest my open orders on Crypsty?

I have about a thousand open orders on C.A.T. and I need to restart my computer.

Actually no  Undecided
Difficulty part is not the "reload" of current orders. Difficult part is load/save all the "old" environment......

Then what should he do when he needs to reboot his machine? Manually close all orders?

I Suggest this kind of steps :
- Close all marketks where there are no Ping-Pong/Trade active (you will see empty table).
- Set the rest of markets in "Return All To BTC Mode" or "Retrn all to Alternative Currency Mode"

After that i think you will have less markets working.

Then you can close all cryptsy orders and stop C.A.t.

What is more memory intensive?  The amount of markets or the amount of orders?  I'm assuming the number of actively traded markets.

Verified awesomeness ✔
Will this work with Mintpal. Don't use Cryptsy.

Mintpal Api Link?
https://www.mintpal.com/api
But you can't do trades yet. They are working on v2 which will include trading calls, but that one is still in private beta.

Theres a clue in the name of the program - lets put it this way....it begins with C and ends with Y  Cry

In other news, guys check out https://cryptrader.com/. Nice site for monitoring multiple markets. Pulls data from Cryptsy and can also grab your balances via the API.

Very excited to see this interface with other exchanges.  Which ones are you thinking about including?  Personally, I love it if bter.com and mcxnow.com were available.

These factors are very important :

Number Of Markets
Kind Of Api (I need at least all the functions to make the ping-pong work, no other site have Api better than Cryptsy)
Volume of Markets

I'm reorganizing some part of interface API code to prepare C.A.T. to an easy interface with other exchanges.
I must decide how to sell C.A.T. when it will be able to work on more than 1 Site
Ex : Full license, License only for 1-2-3..... exchanger.

And the new name will be C.A.T. = Cryptocurrency Automatic Trader  Wink

I'm noticing that on some trades I'll enter a ping order and the strike price of that order will change.  I thought it would only change AFTER a pong when the algorithm tries to recalculate a ping order.

If I click "Never recalculate user ping orders" will that keep my original ping orders from changing? Or does that mean that after a pong, my original ping order goes back into the order book?

Option Never Recalculate Ping Orders means : Orders Inserted from the GUI by the user are not recalculated.
Recalculation routine occurs after 5 lookup : C.A.T. check if there's a way to recreate the order in better position.
All Auto-Orders are recalculated if you are running a "Normal Mode Algo".
With "Static-Mode" there's no recalculation.
