I have serious doubts that ethereum has the capacity overcome the current loss of credibility that has made it fall so abruptly in marketcap. However, despite the emergence of new cryptocurrencies that presume to be more flexible and technologically advanced than bitcoin, this has not only been persisted as the most popular crypto, but in these times of crisis it has been constituted as a store of value resorted by many of those who have invested in this market, so we should not be surprised that in recent months it has consistently recovered its dominance, rising from 30% a few months ago to the current 53%.
Well I think those analysts are trying to draw some attention to themselves. It will very difficult for this to happen. As far as I know they will remain at the top. There is a huge gab already

It is not the end for them, the two cryptos are so priced because people realize that they are valuable and their projects are valuable ones. Just because the market is in a bear right now does not mean that it is the end of the world for the coins. We have all been here before, bears are normal, they are the way that the market corrects itself everytime
The value and rate of both bitcoin and ethereum recently is very low. It can be seen that it's likely collapsing. however, it is only the cycle of the market. It is not meant to lose. Just be positive thinking always the real fact is now very blooding.

While altcoins has gone down, BTC price still stable. I think it is because peoples sold their altcoins to buy BTC, which mean they trust BTC.
All eyez on BTC and people put all funds in BTC if market goes down. Bitcoin is number one, no doubt. ETH will be alright too from this price level I think
If this really happened then I think it's very bad. The electronic money market will collapse. No investor wants to buy bitcoin anymore. The world monetary system will be seriously affected.
Yes that's correct if this happens then people will lose the trust in the crypocurrency. Firstly you need to understand that both bitcoin and Etherum do not have trust Jesus
Stop listening to folks spreading fuds with their aim making you panic and dump unnecessarily
Focus on the most important, work on your researches too

New promising ICO are needed to support Ethereum. The drop in the price of Ethereum is due to a drop in interest in the ICO. The basic rule of the market - demand vs supply. The general decline in the market also played a role, of course

BTC has been developing for several years. ETH also developed crazily last year. Compared with other technologies. Already relatively mature. Many people are talking about blockchain 3.0. Bitcoin and Ethereum will survive with their own way, don't think to hard. You can see forex, stock and commodities market they have the same problem but they still survive until now. Low price with small demand make people lost their trust but see from positive side, low price is the best time to buy back, you only need take the right product ( coin ). Could you give the data on those you said that some analyst says about Bitcoin and Ethereum.
Cause the source where those data came from will also matter about the validity of the data itself.

In my own opinion, ethereum is just tether to bitcoins as well as the other cryptocurrency, so obviously, the price will still grow even more in the market for other cryptocurrency if bitcoins will pump up due to investors demand.

I can agree that bitcoin now has some really technical problems and problems with investor confidence. While it is difficult to say what awaits him. A lot will depend on the team that stands behind bitcoin. As for ethereum, if it implements planned improvements that will solve all its problems with scaling, then I see no reason for this coin to lose its popularity.
In my opinion both will stand out, people go for other coins/tokens now mostly for the return of investment in x5, x10 or more. Saying btc will die is not true, It's dominance will still be strong, it's more acceptable all over the world just like USD is in fiat currencies.
Obviously, btc will eventually die.
I say it has another year or two but beyond that, there is no way it can keep its strong dominance of the market, it is just too old, slow, and expensive to use.
ETH on the other hand, I 100% believe will not die.
Smart contract platforms are the very infrastructure for blockchain to be used in a meaningful way in our daily lives.
And ethereum does it the best by far.

Plasma cash and raiden shoudl be in full use by the end of the year.
The reality of the future market though, is that not one coin will dominate everything like btc does now.
Instead, there will be three or four sharing big chunks of the market share.
