I don't think there is a direct dependence of luck on the number of tickets you bought, for example, a recent case in Delaware, a 70 year old woman won $100,000 with two lottery tickets that she bought at a gas station in Newark. This is interesting OP, but I guess you have that much money to spare. I mean, $800 is still a lot even if you purchased 8000 tickets. Remember that even if you buy lots and lots of tickets, the odds are still against you given that the chances of you winning is still significantly low.

Though if you really have the funds, then I guess the adrenaline and entertainment is worthwhile but again, $800 is a lot of money to consider. If your goal is to win the lottery, then the most recommended method that I advise you is to bet normally.

Chances in theory are more for those who have the higher number of tickets in such lottery like that one but the fact is that anyone even someone with just a single ticket can win the lottery and that is why it is called lottery in the first place,it can go to anyone that lady luck chooses.

That is a difficult type of lottery though,the best that I love is 6 from 49 and in there to get the 6 numbers you need a minimum of 13.8xx.xxx or 13.900.000 to be sure that you will hit it,the problem is what is the prize of such lottery which usually is lower than buying that huge amount of tickets.

And if you're still missing the chance to win, accept that it's just not your day. But to think how many people are betting to Lottery having the same intention which is to win big time, I guess that number of ticket still has low chance to win.But ofcourse if we would base on probability theory, you have higher chances because you'll have many tries just make sure you'd make many combinations in order to make use of the quantity of your tickets. But again, thid involves luck. If one guy is just lucky, even if he only bet for 1 ticket, then he'd win. I'm not good in math but if you have that number in your chance then forget it, don't believe in your odds or edge just believe in luck lottery is a luck-based game I read one story where one guy purchased 1000 ticket hoping to win the jackpot or at least the second or third prize, it turns out all the three winners first second and third only bought one ticket each, so your chances are like all the others.

The odds of you winning is definitely higher than those who just purchased a single ticket for the chance to win.

The more entries and the more risk you make, the higher probability of winning. However, winning the lottery isn't really guaranteed despite of you purchasing thousands of ticket. It's all really a matter of luck. Even if you'll purchase ten thousand and more, if the luck won't favor your side, then all of your ticket bets will just be all put into waste. I believe it's just really destiny that makes someone a millionaire through lottery.

I just hope that $800 is not an amount you can't afford to lose. Because $800 is a big amount already and you can already utilize it into something so much more. But if the case is it's only your spare and you can afford to lose it in the thin air, then good for you.

We already have a decentralized crypto lotto, but they call it mining.

While more hash power you have then you have more tickets to win the lotto, but that doesn't mean the guy with more tickets will always win because the solo-miners sometimes gets a block too. So, Mining is like playing lottery on a decentralized way.

That depends, i would need to know how how high those ball numbers go. I know by looking that there are 5 normal lottery balls and one extra but i can't find the numbers with a quick glance.

I think the math would go like this:
1/36 * 1/35 * 1/34 * 1/33 * 1/32 = 1/45239040

But since you can choose your numbers in any order, there are more possible combinations and therefore a slightly greater chance of winning. A sequence of 5 numbers can be written down in 5! (5 factorial) different ways, so there are 120 different combinations of tickets with 5 correct numbers. When we divide 45239040 by 120 to account for this, we get 376992. So, the chance of hitting 5 correct numbers from the sequence 1 to 36 is 1 in 376992.

The chance of hitting the last number is 1/10, so if I did my math right, your overall chance of winning the jackpot would be 1 in 3,769,920.

The odds might get better but still no guarantee, that's pretty aggressive for a lottery bettor though the simple rule is that the more you bet it increases the odds, so you can have a good chance here. Just have faith with your luck and kindly update us with the result of your bets, that's an insane one and that's the first time to hear someone bought that huge number of tickets just for a lottery.

even if you bought a lot of tickets, it doesn't equate that you will have assurance of winning. you may be increasing your chances but that's it. you still need luck in order to hit that jackpot.
remember, you can very well go home as a loser despite of those number of tickets. so don't expect high. you are just subjecting yourself to heartache and disappointment. i hope the OP used his extra or his own money buying all those tickets.

Lottery Jackpot is 100K, all your 8K ticket for 800$ (x125) = 100K, so odds @125. In the picture you inserted the odds are around over @114 your ticket 8766 for 876.6$ x (114.) there is a other number after the (dot) I can't count it. You could really make those calculations on your own.Im not aware on what kind of lottery or how many numbers or combinations does bc.game lottery have
but if we do speak out generally about odds or chances then cant really be denied that having lots of tickets does really increase winning chances but its not an assurance because having lots of tickets
can be beaten up by someone who had bought a single ticket.We do know that chances or situations like these could really happen which does particularly means that luck does really play a great
factor if we do speak about lotteries. Dont make yourself that too confident on hitting that lottery so that you would be able to avoid some frustrations and anger whenever

I saw someone w on 100k few days ago

6 numbers get 100k
5 numbers get 3000 usd
4 numbers get 20 usd
3 numbera get 1 usd

Okay. I see it's pretty much the same with other lotteries. You didn't hit the jackpot with a higher number of tickets so that should suggest you'll have lower chance with 8K.....but really it's tough to apply "Math" in luck-based games where the numbers to choose from are too many. We've seen it happen many times when someone won big with just one ticket.

your chances of hitting a 6 digits lottery with 1 ticket is 1,000,000.

So if you buy 8000 tickets then it will be 8000/1,000,000.

And that 8000 tickets should be unique as well so get the percentage or chances of you hitting the lottery.

Dude, good luck with the tickets, but unless your lottery is fundamentally different than all others it's odds are stacked against you and you probably won't even make your money back.

I was just talking to a convenience store worker who I see all the time, and he was telling me how much he's won on scratch tickets--and he listed some pretty big wins (not millions of dollars, but thousands on a few occasions according to him). But the thing is that I see this guy all the time with a handful of scratch-offs, so I know he's spent a lot of money for those winners. And it's more likely than not he's given the lottery system more money than he's won....so as I said, good luck with your tickets, but any government-sponsored lottery is basically a extra tax on gamblers.

I used to think that in a lottery, the more tickets you have, the more chances of winning you have. But in reality those chances are still infinitesimally small when you take into account the number of balls they have to draw (6) and the number of balls the entire pool has to choose from (usually 1-50+). That in itself is already a huge number of possible combinations that even one in a million of your tickets may not hit at all.

Still, your chances are increased anyway, but not enough to make a major difference.
