I see the minimum condition is Jr member up ...

Most of bounty program have that rules, Junior Member and above, but don't worry you can still finding some project that Newbies are acceptable.
Try to find it on the Bounties Section.

For me if you are a newbie in crypto and doesn't know about how bounty works (well obviously, it was just instruction set by the bounty manager and you need to follow and do the task) the best option for you to get started is to join airdrops, you just need to sign up some form and you'll be able to get free coins.

airdrops are good, but he will not learn the rules of the bounty in this way.
I think you have to start and just do it. will learn during the campaign.

This forum is not for only bounty campaign If you come here only for doing bounty work you would be the permaban.

Hi thanks for the bountyhive.io website, it's very useful! I just wanted to ask since like what others said that newbie should start on airdrop. Can you recommend websites that offer a list of airdrop coins? I'm sorry to bother you and thank you so much!

Being a newbie, can some kind person please explain to me how bounty campaigns work, how do I join in and how do you get paid? Do I have to have a deep technical understanding of BTC and the programing behind it?

Basically, bounty campaign are used by ICO/Project/Startups to spread awareness about the project that will help invite people/investors to invest in.
Bounties are composed of multiple campaigns for you to choose from.
In your case being a Jr. Member, you can join signature campaign which is the common one but your share depends on your rank. Other campaigns like social media, translations, blogging and making youtube videos, bug hunting, and others are readily available for you as long as you qualify for the requirements needed.

Take a look at this bounty boards on this forum where you can see a vast number of bounties from different ICOs.

Bitcoin Forum > Alternate cryptocurrencies > Announcements (Altcoins)
Bitcoin Forum > Alternate cryptocurrencies > Marketplace (Altcoins)
Bitcoin Forum > Alternate cryptocurrencies > Marketplace (Altcoins) > Bounties (Altcoins)
Bitcoin Forum > Economy > Marketplace > Services

For outside sources, you can visit and try one of these ICO tracker/rating websites:

Hope that will shed light to your queries.

If you are a beginner and want to have the same power you need to have facebook twetter telegram and others. and the number of friends from facebook, twitter, is very influential on the bounty campaign.

exactly. search for people on social networks with the same interests as you. communicate with them. You'll increase the reach of your own posts, which will make you earn more in campaigns.

I suggest you should have an idea how bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies work in order to make things a bit easier for yourself. In bounty campaign, there are a number of rules which all potential participants must adhere to as well as eligibility , so if you meet the requirements, you apply and start your task. Upon completion of this bounty, you will be rewarded accordingly.

Bounties works with your promoting actions and generally don't need any ranks. On some bounties you need rank but in my opinion on 90% of them you don't need. (rank is 100% request for signature campaigns) The major part are bounties for altcoins and you can find here
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=238.0, the payment is generally in tokens on eth address ( you must have private keys ) but they can be on Neo waves or others coin.
You can find something with bitcoin payment here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=52.0 but you will not find so many opportunities.

You only need social media account(facebook twitter medium or others, depending on bounty) and followers, some bounties require only the join on telegram with no followers/groups.

How the bounty works?
They give to you the istruction and the majority works in this way
1- apply for the bounty to see if you have the minimal requirement (number of followers/trust/rank/ banned countries)
2- do the work request
3- post your job (depends on bounty how, where and when)

The payment is done almost everytime after the ico crowdsale, (days/months I saw 2 days to 40days depends on bounty).
No on 99% of the time you don't need techinal infomations about BTC or others coin.

GREAT EXPLANATION.  AND MOST OF IT, ALWAYS BEWARE OF A SCAM ICO. GOOD LUCK GUYS. THERES SO MANY MONY IN CRYPTO. ITS ONLY DEPEND ON HOW AND WHAT STRATEGY OR SKILL U HAVE. MORE POWER.

Good advice about “BEWARE OF SCAMS”! I was reading this CoinDesk article today https://www.coindesk.com/ponzis-death-stranger-ways-lose-crypto/ where they report that “crypto ICO scams often launch on reputable forums like Bitcointalk, and build up a thriving community of commentators about the coin”. Yes the OP and other newbies should make sure they have read up well on the things to look for in a legitimate promising ICO such as the aim of the project, the white paper, the team, the advisors and the coin/token metrics - and know how to spot red flags that the ICO is a money grab or outright scam they should stay away from investing in or doing a bounty for!

And more power to you to.

SwachhCoin is a unique blockchain-powered attempt at micromanaging wastes from households and industries and efficiently converting them into useful products. These products, at the end of the process, will be of higher economic value. The team intends to delve into the realm of green-energy, fertilisers and power generating gases as of now. But given the rapid progress of fundamental research on efficient product conversion, the team looks forward to adapt and better the existing working technology.

Hello, Im also a newbie.  May I ask what is the best time for newbies to join bounties, like after some xxx months or so?  Thanks in advance!

Do not wait too long, it does not make sense.
Find campaigns that have low requirements,
for example, a low number of followers on twitter and facebook.
when it comes to signature campaigns, you must have a junior member minimum.
take part in conversations, at the beginning it is always easier in your native language.
Put an account on linkedin, reddit, steemit, there are often campaigns here.

Since you are newbie, you cannot join for any signature campaign yet, you need to become at-least jr. member to be qualified to join in signature campaign, just keep on posting/replying day to day to any discussion here to gain activities to your account, you need to do it for at least 1 month and then you will become a jr. member. What i suggest is you can join for a Fb campaign or twitter if you want to earn stake while waiting to become a jr. member. Most of the fb campaign doesn't require any ranking to join, as well as for twitter.
