Hello there Im a bounty hunter too but honestly this thread is a waste of space here. Thats why the altcoin discussion is flagged with spam topic cause most subject is complained abouy bounty. Its not good to make such topic regarding complained which has no relevance on this particular section.

Most bounty have an unfair rules, and everybody are aware of that. The only thing that could save hunters are picking a good campaign that is worth the time. Anyway, I have an updated thread here:

i like the iniative being showned here which is brotherhood . its important to make friends to your co workers on a bounty so that you can talk with that bounty also on other stuffs . is bounty payments changed now and work that way as describe on the first page ? because before , you will first fill the forms and you can work and get paid at the end of the bounty if accepted . there is no need to fill another form , thats hassel and it can cause for hunters to miss the payment because they are also busy .

OIkos almost got away from this they have announce the bounty campaign in their telegram channels but not in their other channels like Bitcointalk, where they launched their bounty campaign, and many members almost did not get their rewards, the community pressured them to give the rewards to members because they are getting a lot of bad feed backs and comment.

I dont have any problem if the bounty manager change the rules in any campaign like extending the bounty for another month as long as the bounty pool reward will not be change,

As a bounty hunter then these things are your responsibility and if you are dealing with bounty on serious manner then it would be normal just for you to make up some search or updates nor follow on the project that you had advertised on even though you do expect that most likely you wont get paid but at least you are aware on what are the plans of the team.You missed it out then its your mistake.You cant say that this is a
strategy for them not to pay but those changes can really happen in the end of the line.This is why its really important to have at least some track on the campaign.Not just on simply skipping out once you done and
forget the rest and just wait for those coins to arrive in the wallet.It might be hassle but you do need to have a track every once in a while.

I have missed the filling form how many times because I forgot about that campaign, I realized that the mistake was with me because I was busy in the real world + the many campaigns I participated in made me forget about 1 or 2 old projects that I participated in. now I always mark when the campaign I participated in ended in a spreadsheet so that I wouldn't be left behind in the future.

Bounties token claiming forms aren't always opened for a long time, to avoid missing out you need to constantly check the project telegram group, this isn't the project team fault but your friends

In participated in the bounty campaign means we are also working for them to promote their platforms. That means if we must follow all of the guidelines that have already made by them all. When someone is feeling bad with such bounty and he was feeling free to leave the campaign to join into the another campaign too.

Yep thats right op should always check thier telegram or social media accounts to keep updated to whats happening to project and the distribution, cause most of the post on telegram groups are always asking about when distribution.

You just need to make it as one of your job to visit the channel regularly on the campaign you are participating it is your job to check it regularly.since you are bounty hunter and we know that you are also active promoting other campaign it is also easy for you to check it. Just do it once a week if you want to make sure you will get your payment.

About the story that your friend missed an opportunity to fill the form - that is the stupidest thing in bounties. They are managed on the forum, but all necessary information and news are located in telegram channel. Often BM writes updates and rules only in telegram, skipping forum. That is so wrong.

In the bounty rules it is said that I must join bounty telegram channel, but there is nothing written that I MUST read everything there. I’m promoting the project, not reading chat...

I believe that if a developer or project CEO fully understand how important bounty hunters are they will never want to avoid paying bounty hunters, some teams still want to protect their reputations but still you can't ever figure that out before you start promoting their project.

It's very hard to see bounty projects with good team that have good intentions towards bounty participants today, it's a risk you must take because you can never judge a project before they start their Campaigns, you will never know what will happen after bounty ends, few keeps their promises and many don't

But you are missing the point. It is job of the bounty hunter itself to check the social channels when participating in these programs. It is a responsibility of the hunter. Would like to hear a counter-argument from your side too on this.

If you ask me then I consider it a lack of devotion to the project that you are promoting and the half-hearted efforts at trying tk make money.

Of course the bounty hunt may not be profitable but this type of mentality need to change.

indeed bounties are increasingly unpromising for bounty hunters, I personally experienced different things because I already got payment but there was no market place to sell my token. or maybe the other way around the market place to sell token is readily available but payment never takes place. so it really frustrates bounty hunters. a lot of bounty hunters complain about payment and always say: when payment? or when list to exchange?

You forget to read about rules if "the team can change the rules or put more verification when it was needed"

that means what you can do and it means nothing as the final decision will be fully determined by the team and developers. the managers have no right to make an intervention with the decision that has already taken by the team too.

You need to clearly read the rules of any bounty you join. If there's the note about the owners that they can change the rules at any time, you need to be mindful of that. It is unfair when you don't get paid for what you have worked for, they should consider those who haven't followed the updates but it's them for decide. And for the delay of payments, you are into bounty hunting and most of them always pay late and mostly, don't.
