Sovryn - Brings DeFi to Bitcoin
We can never never stop writing about the tribulation and pains of hunters in this forum. what they passed through the hands of New projects here. some times, we blame bounty managers, other times the project owners. whoever it is, please go ahead and pour out your anger. it is not new here that some new crypto startups wants presence , acceptance and attention. the first place to ask for that is always Here, Next is social Media.
Once such target is achieved, the true identity of some of these projects appeared.
They abandoned the people and platform that gave them such fame. some will ignore questions as about the campaign. Forgetting that it takes time to build a solid ground in anything. when the project dumps, they ran back here creating a ridiculous campaign with peanuts as payment. claimingWE ARE LISTED ON "A" and "B" shit exchange therefore come help us rebuild.

For bounty hunters, Most new projects that got listed on better exchanges HARDLY organize bounties these days. check CMC listing home page and you will be surprised with new projects arriving everyday without any trace of them conducting Airdrops, talk more of Bounties. some will put it out clearly, NOT AIRDROPS.

SO if you happen to join any bounty that pays and you sold out with a favorable price at the market. YOU ARE SO LUCKY. enjoy while it last because some got nothing after the hunt. some got disappointed and frustrated that they abandoned everything.
What do you mean by enjoy while it last? Coinmarketcap have been listing new projects almost everyday since 2017 that I know about crypto and again what makes you think that all those projects that gets on coinmarketcap are good?

I totally agree with what you explained and really understand what you feel because I've also been, and 3x in a row in the period can not be anything at all just run out of time for something that has no benefit, but it is normal for at this time and well I just hope to be more understanding so I don't experience the same thing in the future.

Participating in bounties has risk that you need to take. I advice just do your own research when choosing a bounty look for project that has use and that they can achieve there goals

How a hunter can take it easy if they spend months of time invested on promoting their projects but gets nothing in the end, they will get frustrated and stat blaming other people but its their ignorance caused them to spend time on bounties these days.Bounty hunters should evolve, just join on the bounties with most reputed managers so you can avoid 90% of shit projects.

Ive been through many scam bounties , and here i am still joining .but i learned so many things on my mistakes , never believe on bounties that has more than 500k to 1m usd bounty pool,  check thier whitepaper,  and lastly the bounty manager should be reputed.

I'd like to refute that even bounty manager is reputed, they won't even give out the rewards even though you thoroughly follow their instructions. It is not an assurance, I would not like to drop names but majority of high ranking bounty managers don't give out the payments that the bounty hunter reserves, instead they reduce it so much that you only receive a chunk of change for months of work.
Their job is to manage the bounty and if they said that they don't have the funds, they can't do anything about the rewards. If the distribution is going to be done by the project developers themselves, the bounty manager is out of it.

But if they've said that they hold the funds and you know to compute the stakes, you can compute it and ask them about what you think you deserve to receive based from your computation and stakes.

Why would you even promote a shit when you know it is a shit? Most of us know that what will happen after a bounty ends but still we promote them. Why not we join campaign only from reputed campaign managers? That would save our hard work a lot and pay us accordingly.

Because money dont smell  Grin Even participating in reputed bounty manager doesnt mean you will get paid. Also, sometimes shit projects can be profitable. All you need to do is to be among first to dump rewards.

As a bounty hunter, I trust only in bounties that pays in bitcoin or ethereum. I’ve been in campaigns with reputed and newbie managers, the result was almost the same.

at least we can minimize it so that this incident does not happen to ourselves.
there are many ways to avoid bounty that end up with a scam, the simplest way is to just follow BM who has done a lot of projects that most of the projects are successful and paid accordingly.
remember basically bounty is not something that should be expected to be a permanent job to pay for living expenses, make the bounty job just as free time so that you do not expect too high which usually will experience disappointment.

I think it doesn't really matter about the project manager always, sometimes they got deceive, there is a project that one of the reputable manager in this forum coordinated the bounty program, they paid and got listed but ended up being a scam, their Telegram group is no where to be found

I can bet with my account here that 90% of the said quality projects NEVER Conduct bounties. i said and i will repeat, most New projects listed on quality exchanges do not conduct bounties. many has failed to conduct COMMON Airdrops. whether you research OR NOT, we are left with campaigns looking for fame here and have little or nothing to offer.

I agree,  some upright project don't need bounty to promote their project because already they have targeted the right audience through other means of marketing, such project are willing to spend money to market their product to the right audience because they actually have something to offer, i have seen quite a number of project that have successfully raised funds and launched on top exchange without a single airdrop or bounty,  and they have a very active community as well.

we can not over emphaise the false attitude of these new startups that come rolling on the floor begging for acceptance and fame from the forum and then retun the favor with muted channels and email addresses. it is not an encouraging trend anymore and the loads of hunters i know have dropped drastically. i will urge the forum to have a scrutiny in place for projects coming up with projects and stand as a middle man between the projects and the hunters beyond the trusted and reliable bounty managers.
It can't be helped because there are many projects that don't meet their expectations, maybe the only way for some hunters who might already be frustrated is because sometimes the results can be out of line with expectations or maybe the project they are participating in is no longer profitable or even a scam might be one- their only choice is to switch to another such as just following a simple social media project or even airdrop and others,

So anyway, I applied as a merit source :)
That is the perks of being a bounty hunter. We take the risk of our effort, time and energy in this.
You are lucky if you get paid a decent amount but if not, then move on and find a new bounty.
That is a risk not a perk. A perk is supposed to be an advantage that one has, this is not, rather a risk.

This mentality of making money from a bounty and then moving on to a new one was not the way it was initially supposed to be done. Bounty was supposed to be a rewarding system for people who helped gain attraction to a startup. But from there it went on to bounty hunting since a lot of low income country users started flocking in it leading to a lot of spam. I still consider them to be the cause of their own demise, once they started to use more than one account to abuse the bounties then only the KYC crackdown and worthless projects started to clog the market. I might be wrong though.

Truly speaking, bounty hunters are the most frustrated and disappointed set of hustlers here, airdrop sometime but less work. Hunters participate in campaigns for three months and still end up with rewards of $5, this is crazy. So you are absolutely lucky if you get at least $20 from bounty.
Wait what three months for only 20 bucks, that was insane my dude I don't means to be ungrateful but after we spend all that times just for keep following bounty and 20 bucks all we get (even in future still like 20 bucks), it is even better if we try something new on our life. Doing some research about the project maybe help us out by not falling on that madness.

At times this is truly unreasonable because the amount of time and money one invests in such bounty and literally gets nothing becomes totally waste. Or else one should only be joining the campaign which is backed by some known people or handled by a good campaign manager. So chances increases of project to be successful.

Dah I also think like that way good campaign manager will be always choose legitimate project because that project we talking about can be consideration for bounty hunter on next project. But sometime people try to think to get more money by cheating on that bounty and make that pool reward so small because that bounty have so many sock puppet, this the reason why I never joined bounty over 2 month (a short time can make sock puppet do not have enough time to enter that bounty).

Bounty hunters must do their own research before joining any bounty campaign. There are many signs from which you can tell if a project is going to succeed or it's just another scam.
From what I can see, bounty hunters don't care about this. They will apply to any new campaign and keep posting their reports without even taking the time to read updates from the manager. You can see some posting reports in campaigns that ended months ago!
You should realize that it's not like the old days anymore.

Lets Not  generalized the situation because we knew that majority of those participants in Bounties are only making their living by bounty hunting, they are joining and joining bounties without checking or finding the right one,as i have observe this attitude towards them.

and i hate the idea that they are making complaints after being not paid when the truth is they should have been used to that for many  project they participated.
DOGDATA team didn't even payed. They just used this forum for marketing then leave the users with nothing. Maybe someone could ban them by this.
I think i am familiar with that project as it was handled by Julerz12 or wapinter? anyway yeah  i have seen many complaints over telegram about this issue.

Most time the worth of reward drops due to price dump and to make it more worse, the bounty hunters are the one blamed even after they sold tons of tokens to investors cheaply during presales.

If you are too hungry to join bounty campaign without checking their legitimate, you will never get a good one. In 2018, yahoo62278 brought mb8coin, in 2019 Hhampuz brought temtum. There were some other good projects too which I can not remember at the moment. If you are patient enough, you will get good campaign for sure.
Good bounties like those only get to come around once in a while. Hhampuz and Yahoo62278 manages good bounties not like some managers that accept every bounty that comes there way.
