You deserve accolade for this post. This is what I try to tell people when they ask me for the best bounty to do. You never know until you do it and you are done and you are paid. The least you expected could be the best while the one you had high hopes for might end up being scam.
I think bounty hunting is actually like a box of chocolate in the sense that you do not know what you will get. Bounties can be really worth the time and some can be just worthless, you never know.
That's true you never know until you received your rewards and the token hit the market with a profit, some bounty is very disappointing, some of them stopped their ico after two months of promoting them and some of them never hit the market at all, you really never know what you will get.
I agree with you when considering some facts. We can filter out scam projects by proper research. But projects failing can't judge before it happened.. Some projects end successfully but they couldn't list on exchanges for a long time, Some projects start very actively then it became inactive with time. points like that can't discover before. Some coins get listed with very cheap price than ICO price and expected price. So I agree with you.
If you are a regular campaign participant. You will be able to calculate how much money you will receive from that campaign. By counting the number of participants at that time. It is easy to find out.

I disagree. Bounty is like a gift from anonymous person. You will not know if the item or items inside is good or bad. It can be an expensive or cheap one. But when you are talking about box of chocolate, you will know what is inside it's a chocolate but you will not know if you will like the taste or not. I personally select very carefully the bounties I do participate. I only do bounties for projects I will personally invest in, because they are a great way to get some additional tokens for free, that I actually care about and intend to hold.
Bounty is not a gift. Bounty is a reward for a work done. Not an easy work if I may add. Yes there is the little unknown about every bounty that makes it a little bit more interesting and surprising.
Haha, correct. You work on something but you don't really know exactly what will be the result of the project. It's like working on a regular job but expecting a result like a business. Either you gain profit or you lose all your effort and time. But with the experience, you will gain knowledge anyway. Well that's the world is crypto, it is like a roller coaster ride.
I agree with you, sometimes we feel the tokens that we have no price at this time, but when a few months later the token price has a high selling point .. I have experienced it several times, crypto world is always make me surprise!
I agree. A common mistake a bounty hunter does is to dump the coin as soon as it hits the exchange. Although its a great opportunity for buyers, they are missing the chance of earning more money. Hodling a coin can takes a lot of time but once the coin reached its peak, the rewards are much higher than the first time it hit the exchange. Selling a coin immediately will just ruin the price of the coin and not helping the coin you worked for to grow. You are only helping yourself and those rich people will become wealthier after a year.
Absolutely. I did different bounties, most of them were a waste of time. But with just one I made enough profit to cover all the other.

I agree, unlike a box of chocolates, with due diligence, we can look not only inside the box, but also the candy itself, knowing the filling. 
The plus of the bounty is that they can be paid instantly to anyone who has been able to solve the task. Although most of the fees have a predetermined amount, there is an opportunity to increase the reward.

its true, but its also like a prayer, you are waiting for a blessing, even without knowing when are where it will be coming from. even if you dont know what you received, just hope that it will have a value even if it will take time. conclusion:

Yeah, I agree to this till we get stakes/coins. More people in bounties less chocolate you get. By looking & researching for good project it can give you a good box of chocolate.
That's cryptos for you, but some times you might actually predicts correctly what you will get, when you join good bounty program then you will be sure you gonna get a good return but if you join not so good bounty then you will take whatever outcome it produce.
yes I'm agree, It's just like gambling, you'll never know what will happen later, waste or time or earn big profit? so bounty hunter no choice, Just do your job and I'm sure that some of them will give your big reward
Bounty is not gambling. We participate in safe bounty campaigns based on the ability to analyze the project rather than relying on luck

I agree but it bounty tokens are also like wine, some turns to vinegar but the best improve with age. There are lots of coins these days that would have a great potential to provide us great earnings in the future. We should just choose the best ico to join just like how wine makers pick the best fruits to make the best wines.
