As a bounty hunter, I see myself as part of the crypto ecosystem. It is true that all here came for a reason. But not all are for monetary gain. In fact, it is the worst mindset to see bounty only from a monetary viewpoint.

What this ecosystem is doing can be looked at in two dimensions: 1. Redefining the way financial transaction will go in the future. 2. Helping to get people aware of this development.

Although, most projects are malicious to the cause of the original intentions, yet as we match forward, so many are falling by the wayside. It is therefore good to promote only real and meaningful projects. It is difficult to do so, but it is possible. For me, I follow renowned bounty managers.

maintenant, Bounty n'est pas très rentable parce que maintenant beaucoup participent à des entreprises et donc, en conséquence, le bénéfice est inférieur.

You ask bounty hunters not to write comments on topics that are garbage, but have created essentially the same topic. There have been many discussions on this issue, and this topic only combines some of them, which, again, have been under discussion for a long time.

Well I am aware of meetngreetme or wel coin the developers and the team has a proven track record and they have a product and services long before they launch their ICO but what happens to their ICO is very miserable they are only on IDEX and they have no volume there, suddenly they messed up everything about their company.

Disclaimer: I don't know if this was the right section but I think more of the bounty hunters are in this section which this topic was for

I've seen that most of the bounty hunters are gathering here in order to meet their post quota in their bounties by replying or participating to some trash topics or low quality topics, the reason I've created this topic is for us to have some real discussions about Altcoins (But probably more on bounty part) at the same time meeting our signatures quota rather than participating to a useless/trash topics.

So let's have some real discussions around here.

BOUNTY CAMPAIGNS
I've been exploring the forum finding some discussions, news or whatever information is it and found out a topic about bounty campaigns. We all know that most of the identity of the bitcointalk forum is for having a bounty campaign section which most of the crypto developers are looking for in order to promote their project.

I've came to a thread which stated that there's a currently running campaign that promotes ponzi scheme (and of course the bounty manager will offer a high amount of reward in order for many people to join) and that's what happened a lot of people joins and wear a signature, share infos through social media but after a DT member checked and confirmed that the project is a scam he/she post in the bounty thread as well as in the reputation (I'm not sure or in meta) that participants should remove their signature and stop promoting the project throughout the forum and he/she gives a time for them to remove and those people who failed to remove the signature has been tagged.

Well in my opinion we can't blame the DT-member because it's against the rule in the forum as well to a fellow investors but as a Bounty hunter we should be responsible in promoting the projects we are joining right? We should not be deceive by the bounty managers reputation, the presentation of the thread, the high reward.

We should be looking at the projects contents, concept, how does the project works, what are the positives and negatives of the project and specially the legibility of the projects mission. We can do that by:

• Doing our own research
• Studying the projects in our own way
• Studying the team's accomplishments
• Reading the Whitepaper and analyzing it
• Following the roadmap and technical details

We should be responsible in our action, we might harm others without knowing by promoting an illegal or scam projects. Well our accounts may be in danger too, just like what the users who received a negative trust by promoting a ponzi.

I would like to hear all your opinions and insights as well as your ways on choosing the projects you're going to promote.

There bounties out there that are profitable still despite of bloody market going on. Its just take time to be enlisted because the market right now is at down and it needs our patience for a while. We just need to research what kind of campaign are we entering as of the moment because its actually hard to determine whether that project is legit or not.

some projects still prove to be profitable, but if we only follow a little campaign, we will also get a little profit. because too many participants participated, the token allocation for small bounty participants and cheap token prices must also be realized by the campaign participants

I agree that there is a lot that we need to know as bounty participants to make sure that the coins are actually good before we start doing the campaigns. there are a lot of scam projects and now there is no way to know for sure which projects are actually going to pay out the rewards, so it is best that we find out as much as we can about a campaign before doing it

Currently, Bounty is not as profitable as it was one or two years ago. The market has just experienced a very deep correction. And now he needs time to recover. In the next six months, one should not expect any very good earnings for those who participate in the bounty.
This is not just only because of the price fall even the prices were much increased then how much it was before two years ago but this is happeing because of people started to promote anything for money which causes the scammers to create lot of scam projects and steal the investors from money and ran aways so bounty hunters are helping them which make the investors to think all the ICOs were scam.

A great post man! Thanks for sharing this and I hope newbies will follow your instructions and will try to reduce the opportunity of getting scammed. I thought it was obvious, but it seems that there are some people left, that do not follow these rules.

No one wants to promote a project that is actually a scam, but sometimes the bounty hunters are also trapped in the campaign. It's not an easy thing to choose a good project. You have given 5 steps to analyze whether the project is a scam or not and I think those are good steps to do, if we do that, I think we will be spared from the scam project.

It is common knowledge that each bounty hunter should do some research and be aware about the projects we are joining. But unfortunately, even after all the research and awareness, there is really no specific or exact way of knowing if a project is a scam or not. Personally, I do not think that wearing a signature directly promotes a project. As long as we do not specifically mention the project in our posts, there will be no problem.

Its pretty difficult to get the best out of bounties nowadays even with all of the serious DYOR awareness. ICOs havent been lucky this your because of the nature of the market. However, I would still advise you keep pushing and not give up at this point.

I often get stuck with projects that I follow, it can be a scam, not achieving softcap and others.
I have a little problem with finding details about the truth of the team from a project.
can you explain in detail to be able to believe that the team in the project has been verified and correct?

Actually i'm Not really an expert in checking about the teams credibility i'm just being practical if his/her expertise is related to the project, the project he/she accomplished before visiting his/her facebook, twitter, etc. and sometimes sending an email confirming that he/she working with the project.

We have different criterias in judging the project whether it's anlegit or not but, there are some projects thatbreally doesn't meet the soft cap and most likely ended up unsuccessful project since they don't have enough funds to continue the project and they just return all the funds, some of the projects ended up a scam when they didn't reach the softcap (but not all of course)

Promoting scam projects is cancerous because the feeling you get after discovering it's fake y
ICO is  bad, bounties isn't the same like it used to be say one or two years ago, it's lucrative anymore. Before one chose any bounty, critical Analysis is germane to be able to sieve away scam ICOs

Bounties are less profitable as there are much more participants, many of them are prolonged and never ending, listings are late, and value of the tokens is very often crashing when the tokens enter the exchange. Hunters should be more selective that their work would be properly rewarded.

I have seen many topics that are similar to yours already and there have been real discussions on this board. I am not sure how you missed them  Huh

Also, all the suggestions that you gave are good and I see them being posted by somebody else every time I visit here.

Yeah your right dude, like " How to find good ico? " or Tips in choosing legit ICO BOUNTY" or something " How to avoid scam ICo, these are the topics which I saw from different section in the forum were this topic has a similarity with them.  Its been repeated several times here, I think it became boring if we entertain this such a discussion. Sorry but no offense for the creator of this one.

That's absolutely correct so you are not just supporting specific project because you want to earn , you support project because you are convinced by their project and you will not just get profit but invest in a big project wherein you will your nice future by hodl their token .

I have been advocating this to bounty hunters for long that we need to filter and find only quality projects to promote, promoting every project blindly is just a waste of time, i hope bounty hunters will start researching about each project before promoting it.
Indeed this had been the my major consign when it comes to choosing the right bounty to promote, I had wasted almost 4 months promoting a scam project despite my research and media hype about that project and despite being highly rated by the reviewing sites.
