The beginning of KYC procedure

In the last announcement, the Solar DAO team told about plans for the next months. The first PV solar plant construction should start this month. After PVS’ commissioning and finishing final works, Solar DAO will start working on profits distribution. In order for the Project to follow our planned course and achieve financial goals, the KYC procedure among the tokenholders is need to be conducted.

1. Token Sale (ICO).
Solar DAO is actively developing, over the past six months we’ve made a great progress. We love and appreciate our Community and we are also grateful to the Pre-ICO participants for their faith in project and its support.

We decided not to run the ICO. Really.

For now there are 1'172'767 SDAO released and no more tokens will be issued.

Why?
As we reported earlier, the bulk of funds for Project’s implementation will be attracted and formed in Private Equity Fund.
We’ve attracted new partners and institutional investors, collecting preliminary commitments worth several millions.
Thus, Solar DAO does not need the ICO. We have already secured the support of early and institutional investors. Next step is to construct PV solar plants (PVS).

2. Fundraising.
Recently the Solar DAO project was presented at the Roadshow made by the Monaco Growth Forum. Solar DAO has been represented to over 200 investor (Family Offices, Private Investors and Funds) in 5 major financial centers of Europe (London, Zurich, Geneva, Lugano, Milano). We got positive feedback and currently working with the people we met.

3. Solar plants construction.
Currently we are still working at solar projects selection, evaluate them and conduct due diligence for every project that looks promising.

We consider construction in Kazakhstan, Poland, France and Israel. We cannot guarantee these countries because of changing proposals. But our main goal is to begin construction in March 2018.

Please note about the non-disclosure policy. We understand how important it is to know about upcoming projects, but the principle of interaction between partners is built on secrecy, based on the interests of both parties. Therefore, we will notify the Community of an exact project being implemented immediately after the final signing of all necessary documents.

The first PVS construction will begin as soon as everything is ready for it.

Solar is the New Black. What happend in 2017

Solar energy is one of the promising areas of renewable energy, based on the direct use of solar radiation to generate energy for heating, electricity and water heating. Just a few years ago it was hard to believe that solar energy will be able to compete with the usual sources of energy. Dreams came true.

New records in 2017
This year, some parts of the world have tried to live only on renewable energy sources.
The first was a province of China. The Qinghai government conducted a successful experiment on the temporary transition to renewable sources. Thus, people (around 6 million!) was able to live 7 full days, providing the needs due to the energy of the sun, wind and water.

The next world record was put by the state of Costa Rica. The country was able to meet its needs exclusively at the expense of renewables for almost a year! It took 300 days when 100 percent of electricity production was from renewable sources of energy — this is a real achievement for a country of about 5 million people.

Solar power — trend of the year
A record minimum was set for the cost of solar energy in November 2017: Following Saudi Arabia, Mexico set a tariff equal to 1.77 ¢ / kWh (by ENEL Green Power). This price allowed the company to win a tender for the construction of four major projects with a total capacity of 682 MW.

Further drop in prices will be caused by increased efficiency of solar panels. Recently, JinkoSolar once again broke its own record, achieving in laboratory conditions the efficiency of polycrystalline batteries at 23.45%. Compared to the standard efficiency of 16.5%, this improvement is 42%. And this means, 42% less effort will have to spend on their installation, maintenance and placement.

Record investment volume
With increased global capacity and lower cost of solar energy, interest of the largest corporations has increased significantly:

Oil corporations began to invest in clean energy.
*BP paid $ 200 million to get a 43% stake in Europe’s largest manufacturer of solar panels. The company will be renamed into Lightsource BP, and representatives of BP will get two seats in management. Thus, BP again
 returned to business, which left 6 years ago, considering it unprofitable.
*American giants of investment-banking companies Citigroup and JPMorgan both have their intentions to fully use renewable energy sources by 2020.
 Google has annonced its 100% transition to RES. Total company investments to clean energy reached $3.5 billion.

In the new 2018 Solar Energy industry will still increase its pace of development. It is generally agreed that a complete transition to renewable energy will take place in 2050.

Introduction of Renewable sources of energy (RES) is becoming more popular today, even in those states that are distinguished by the presence of fairly solid reserves of natural gas and “black gold.”

I've been wearing your avatar and signature since you said you would come back basically for free since I could have join other campaigns, but since you are still not here yet im going to need to remove it and may get in other other campaign. I may still be interested to promote your product if you come back eventually.

Any reason why it is frozen until october? Also you should put these big red letters in the OP on page 1 otherwise a lot of people may not see it and demand payments for their posts.

I hope it comes soon in october and not late october since apparently december 1st is the last day.
