* Need some clarification: "stylized and polished" - does this mean [but] Not to alter the "V" design as shown? It seems to conflict with"We need a clean and elegant logo which incorporates the “V” into the design" - this statement tell me to go ahead submit ones own concept of a "V" design?
Which is it, clean up the "V" design presented, or, have the freedom to come up with a different look?

Hi,
Thanks for the questions. So I would like the V to appear in the design [in some form]. The V is a sketch I just drew quickly on the computer. It's the general idea. It needs to be polished, maybe proportions adjusted, different font, maybe slightly thinker lines, colours?, gradients?. You get the idea. Think of it like a rough drawing on the back of a napkin. So there is quite a lot of freedom there, just using something based on the V idea.
It does not have to be a coin shape.
I will give feedback on the designs so you can create variations based on the feedback.

Good. Decide on your own.None of the community voting crap. Otherwise you will end up with a mediocre coin designed by sockpuppet masters like in the recent Quazarcoin contest.

Viacoin is a new and modern crypto-currency just like the current market leader Bitcoin. We need a clean and elegant logo which incorporates the “V” into the design.
The "V" design is a concept and may be stylized and polished.
Our aim is to be seen as very professional. Furthermore a stylized rendering of the name “Viacoin” next to the logo is required, usable in all media merchandise.
The slogan of Viacoin is “The future of crypto-currency” and can be incorporated in the design as well as you see fit.
On a sidenote: Via is the Latin word for "road" and implies "by way of".
Additional requirements: the logo should be scalable and needs to stay recognizable if scaled down to 16x16.
