Crowd Genie — Blockchain product development update — Part 1
Last few months have been a roller coaster ride. As we set out to build Asia-wide tokenized Asset exchange platform, we were pretty sure that the journey would be exciting to say the least.
At Crowd Genie, we believe in an open and transparent relationship with the community and taking the same tradition forward, I will share the Crowd Genie Platform building journey in a series of articles probably once a month or whenever we have something substantial to share.
As shared in the previous posts, we had already on-boarded the MC2 team as our technology partners and were working closely together in thrashing out the details.

Crowd-Genie Conducts its First Official Quarterly Buyback on HitBTC

Since the end of the ICO, Crowd-Genie’s team has been in full throttle developing the platform and building up the business. As mentioned, in our Whitepaper, we want to support the value of our tokens through a quarterly buyback from the exchanges, and burn the bought back tokens. A total of USD10,000 would be used to buyback CGC Tokens from the cryptocurrency exchange, HitBTC. This would be done throughout the month of July to prevent any sudden price fluctuations in the market. Additionally, for the token to avoid being classified as a security, the buyback would be done at prevailing market prices.
Crowd-Genie also has been following the developmental roadmap closely and is now 4 weeks away from establishing the wireframe infrastructure for the Crowd-Genie platform, and another 4 weeks away from release of the alpha prototype. The community can expect tangible deliverables from Crowd-Genie in the coming months as we prepare for the launch of Crowd-Genie’s hybrid blockchain solution.

2. We are also announcing that CGC token will be listed on https://cobinhood.com/home by 19th March - and we will be a featured listing there with massive support from their partners and endorsements targeted at the China market
3. Now for the not-so-good news: our listing on OKEX is delayed as they have a lot of backlog and they are reducing the tokens they launch each week to 1/week - so we have gotten pushed back - we are working to get the date and will update as soon as we hear - here is what we heard from their team “Hey Akshay, our senior management had significantly reduced the pace of listing which affected all the projects in the pipeline. However once we have some updates we will get back to you. Thank you for your patience”
