I think even logan paul thinks he has no chance.
We don't need to read what he think, he really has no chance against Floyd, no one can beat Floyd even in an exhibition fight. Logan Paul here does fight to make money, not to win, just trying to be realistic here.
Then; even Floyd Mayweather does too, they are both in the same boat, we can't quickly forget what happened in Floyd Mayweather last fight, they all shown they are after the money and not give out entertainment fight we used to see in their respective fight. Basically, these types should be scrape out becasue they are making the boxing industry boring honestly.

Indeed, whether Logan Paul win or not, the bottom line here to this fight only is all about " MONEY " nothing else.
The only advantage for Logan Paul if ever He beat Floyd Mayweather  His popularity in boxing is that his career will surely boost
for sure on this thing.
I've read that he's moving onto another state to pursue his boxing career. Well, that's one part of the plan to make this on hype. A well-made noise for Logan Paul and money to gain for Floyd.

This is like a career in Youtube.

If you are new, stick to those with high subs and collab with them and after that, for sure you will gain a boost in subs count because of that high subs guy.

Will Logan Paul at least give a challenging match inside the ring?

We all know what will happen.

Despite the predictions or the guesses, I don't think Logan could even stand in round 1 for a long period of time if Mayweather wanted to finish the game early. This is not even a challenging match for Mayweather, it would be a piece of cake, easy money for him. All of the things Logan's side are saying for me is just to advertise their fight and make more profit.

Yes, I agree with you, they have a die hard fans and Logan Paul has a big number of followers in his youtube channel.
22.7 million as of the moment, I don't know if it has increase because of this fight, but it's a big number even if 10% of that will buy the PPV.

KSI vs. Logan Paul match generated around 1.3 million PPV buys, which was very impressive for a boxing match between two amateurs. Since Mayweather is involved, we can expect that number to increase by manifold for this match. But while the KSI vs. Logan Paul had a price tag of £9.95 per PPV buy, I expect this match to be more expensive. So at least some of the fans are going to find it unaffordable.

Love it or Hate it, there would be still crowd who would watch thing one even if its clear that the outcome is already known or anticipated.
Of course, haven't seen Mayweather loss in promoting his fight, his promotion is good, they can put some hype in this fight though we know this fight is an easy fight for him, but there are still people who are willing to pay for the PPV and enjoy the fight, let's respect them because most of us here are just waiting to see the fight from a free or illegal PPV stream..  Grin

Don't forget the die-hard fans of Mayweather and also Logan Paul. Both have good number of followers. For sure, some of them are willing to spend for the PPV. We all agree here that this is just an entertainment fight. Nothing much expected here. We are just wondering here how they will fight inside the ring.

I am terrible at Fantasy Football!!!
Is anyone even considering the possibility of a win by Logan Paul? Or do you guys think that there is not even a 0.0001% chance of that happening? Floyd Mayweather retired from professional boxing many years ago and he is no longer training regularly. So I would assume that there is a remote chance that Paul may land some of his shots on the right position.... well.. even for me it sounds ridiculous.. If Paul manages to beat Mayweather, it will be the greatest boxing upset of all time.

There will be no upset that will happen in a boxing exhibition match especially involving one of the greats, retired undefeated, against a Youtuber with only 2 professional fights.

And no, Mayweather might be retired from boxing but surely his training and anything related to his health is well-maintain. He is just 43 years old after all, still healthy, fit, and still in his shape as a boxer.

Just waiting for the result of how much money will be generated here in the fight.

Besides it has not been that long since he retired, in some of the previous exhibitions matches we have seen we are seeing fighters with more than a decade of not fighting and Mayweather not only is younger but has not being retired for that long, so he still should have a great deal of his ability even if he has not trained as hard as before because that is not the kind of thing that you forget after you have practiced it for so long, and when we take into account that he is fighting someone with no experience then it is obvious that we should not expect any kind of upset in this fight.

Normally I would agree with you that there would be less viewers for a known outcome, but in this case I think everyone is paying to see Logan get knocked out.  I can't remember the last time I saw Mayweather knock someone out, as his last several fights have mostly been him dancing around earning technical points, so I think he actually has a bit to lose in this event.  If he can't even knock out Logan Paul at this point in his career, why would anyone still pay to see him fight?
Do you remember the last time Floyd Mayweather knocked out a fighter it was in 2011 against Victor Ortiz who was not ready for the fight after referee interference and Mayweather took that as a chance and knocked him out and in my view it was a cheap shot as Ortiz was not ready as he was apologizing for the foul he earlier committed. I can bet that Mayweather will not knockout Logan Paul but he will win on points.

For example, do you think there's any chance in hell Mike Tyson wouldn't knock Logan Paul out?  Why isn't Mike the one getting tens of millions of dollars to knock out youtubers?
Mike Tyson was known for his heavy hands and Logan Paul nor any causal boxers stand a chance even against an old Tyson as one shot from him will floor anyone.

When one side thinks there is no chance in hell they could win, that attracts a lot less viewers, however it is still not a lost cause as a viewer for many people, because they are trying to get something out of it. What could they possibly get? Well for a Mayweather fight I think nothing, normally I would assume that in a regular boxer vs youtuber situation we would be expecting boxer to beat the hell out of the youtuber, and that is actually kind of the point, you could spend money to watch mayweather beat logan, and that ain't really the worst thing I would spend money on.

Plus, the PPV price could be lower on this, I didn't hear what it will be like, if it is really cheap and we have corona everyone, so you could just get couple beers and a pop corn and watch mayweather beat the hell out of two moronic brothers. That ought to worth something in the end Cheesy.

Yeah, its been a while for i havent seen Mayweather to knockdown opponents into his recent official boxing fights but doesnt mean that he wont able to knock off Logan on this one.
If we do try to compare Logan than to those boxer which does really have that extensive training compared to him then you can say that he's isnt on the level when it comes to
toughness and stamina to those who had Floyd fought. Love it or Hate it, there would be still crowd who would watch thing one even if its clear that

Aside fromt that nothing more, it's Mayweather's game he's game plan mostly be followed. Promoters will do their best to bring fans
attentions to this fight, it will add some spice playing trashtalks and more social medias exposures.

The fight is promoted by Mayweather's promotion and other partner companies.

Here's the source.
Westlake native Logan Paul announces boxing exhibition vs. Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Quote
Taking to social media on Sunday, Jake Paul's brother, Logan Paul, revealed that he will be facing boxing legend Floyd Mayweather Jr. in an exhibition on Feb. 20, 2021. The fight will be promoted by Mayweather Promotions and streamed via Fanmio Boxing, which is currently advertising an early bird price of $24.99, with an expected increase to $69.99 beginning on Feb. 11.

Therefore it's expected that Floyd makes a big cut of this fight that there's a little risk for him.
Floyd knows how to run his business, though most of us might say the fight is not good or boring, but I believe this will generate profit on their side.

Even Jake Paul has said Logan has no chance. I even heard a rumor that Floyd wanted to fight Logan and then Jake immediately after. I can’t say I’ll be buying the pay per view, but I look forward to watching the highlights on YouTube. It’s hard to be mad at Logan Pail for this though. He may have no chance and be way out of his league, but he’s taking advantage of the opportunity to fight a legend and earns a huge payday.

On the other hand, Floyd is also doing the same. So they're both taking advantage of an opportunity to do something crazy and wack and earn a big easy money from it. There is no excitement in this actually. They're just fooling the people in a way.

I would be excited and probably be watching the fight in a live stream as well if Mayweather would fight Jake and Logan Paul at the same time. That's 2 to 1. Since they're already doing something crazy, why not think outside the box?

Nothing is guaranteed but i can guarantee you that theres no way on beating Floyd on the ring on where he do specialized.Upset can happen but not on this one a million chance.
He might be old but his stamina and fighting abilities had decreased down.Dont underestimate on how smart this man is plus having those technical ways of fighting plus
heavy blows but of course it wont really be used 100% on this exhibition fight! Lets just see on how they both play in the ring and ensure that people get
entertained.

As far as I am concerned, with such low odds, there is no point in betting for Floyd. The odds are in the 1.02-1.03 range, and the deposit/withdrawal fee may be higher than any potential returns. So even if you win the bet, you may end up with a net loss. The only option is to bet for Logan Paul. If he wins, you may end up with 35x-50x returns. But as you said, it is a one in a million chance.
not really, I am pretty sure there are people who will bet with a huge sum of money in order to get a decent profit from a one sided fight. and to be honest betting on logan paul is just a waste of money.

I think even logan paul thinks he has no chance. it is a waste of money to buy a pay per view and I am a little sad that an amateur like logan paul is fighting a great boxer. but then again it is their life and choice who they fight but it is just sad that the sport is becoming(or maybe has become) a circus show because of this money-hungry people

The possibility that Logan could win is always there. The question is a different one. Despite the fact that, as you said, Floyd is being out of shape, in my opinion the chance that Logan can win against someone who had professional training in the past, is very minimal.
Minimal and very low.

Yeah, we can talk about the chances but the comparison is very far from these two person. The chance that we're talking is like a very unbelievable thing to happen.

But if somebody bets on Logan and he surprisingly beat Floyd, that's incredible win and that broke what I'm saying about that he's no match for Floyd.
If Logan will win this game, expect that few people will get a huge amount of money, all people knew that Floyd is undefeated he cannot be lose so easily even those top players in the world are being defeated by him , even he is not so good as a boxer because all he can do is run, still he is still winning with his kind of stategy.
