Right, Smith vs Beterbiev makes more sense as both are big punchers already in their last fight somehow they didn't show what of expected of them. Maybe after Canelo clean the 168 lbs division, get all the belts and probably he will have to go again to LHW to either fight any on the two fighters.

But Canelo said that he doesn't want to go to LHW and this is coming from his team. Maybe they just advice him to stay to Super middle because moving up in weight and then going down again might hurt him in the long run.

But as we all know in boxing, if the money is in the table then why not?

Just throw small money for Smith here just for fun. And to be honest, I didn't watch the fight, I just saw the news that he won.

And base on what I read, it was really very rough fight for him because of the cut that's why it did go to 12th and on the judges scorecard. I'm don't know if there will be a rematch, we might as well see Smith and Beterviev, that will be another intriguing match. Two hard punchers going at each other.

For me Smith Jr, won the match the fight is close but Smith Jr sealed it in the last two rounds, the last two rounds are the championship rounds whenever the fight is too close to call, and based on the performance of the two boxers, Smith Jr, came out to win the last two rounds, heading to the 11th round I though the match is even, Smith Jr comes out to take the last two rounds and the match.

Yes, this one deserves a rematch but I think Smith's camp will go for another boxer here like Beterbiev.
But more than likely, Vlasov will ask for a rematch here. That was really a close one.

Let's see and witness their moves on this fight, and based on the presented odds, I've seen that they're just close and for me it's difficult to choose whom will be the best.
For now, the fight isn't yet happening and maybe it takes more to time to analyze and do certain reviews on their previous fights. Hopefully, I would pick a good choice as soon as possible.

Smith was bothered by that cut in the left eye, that must be the reason why he fought awkwardly.

I would give it a draw if i'm one of the judges but it happened already and the best that Vlasov can do is ask for a rematch.

Smith vs Beterbiev is also an exciting one and i think Smith could give a very tough test on Beterbiev's career and that could end via KO as both are heavy punchers.

^^ Nice odds for Maxim Vlasov, huge underdog but he can upset Smith Jr here.

As I have said, not familiar with any of them, so the only choice for me is to go for the underdog because of the attractive odds.

All Russians for the next LHW title fight? that will be awesome, but Beterbiev will have the advantage if the two fought.

Bouts and wins of Maxim Vlasov are almost doubled by Joe Smith Jr., which clearly shows the advantage experience of Maxim Vlasov.
I'm curious why the odds are extremely far and it favored Joe Smith, even Vlasov got the experience advantage and height.

@bisdak40 - yes, I would say go for Maxim, I would consider him a live underdog here. ML is good already. If everything goes his way, it won't go on judges scorecard, round 10 could be a good pick by KO/TKO.

@DoublerHunter - at least me and your sports analyst friend as jive in terms of Maxim being the underdog here, again, it just really surprises me to see him a very far underdog in this fight. But I don't know if the odds are going to be fixed. Maybe we can see some swing as the fight gets closer.

Ok, at 3.xx odd for Maxim Vlasov, I think this is already attractive for us. Just even .1-.5 mbtc will be good enough to put a bet on him.

So this is still a 50/50 fight, yes both of them are unheard of, but sure this should be one exciting fight. And both of the fighters are at least 6'0 feet, could be a battle of jabs. But I doubt any of them can beat Canelo Alvarez if Canelo decided to move up in light heavyweight.

Never heard much of both fighters. Only heard of Joe Smith Jr. since he was the one who retired the old and arrogant Bernard Hopkins. Other than that, nothing else. Maxim Vlasov is also pretty much unheard of. But as the odds of Vlasov is very high compared to his opponent who is not really a class higher than him, I am also tempted to bet on him a little.
