..he only has few fights left maybe 2 more fights and he can fight once or twice a year because of his being a Senator so let's hope it will happen.

Not because of being a Senator.

That 2 or let's say 3 more fights is the maximum numbers given by his team.

Back to Spence, I found it disrespectful calling a fight on a Big Name Legend that is closed to retirement while he is on peak.

He just let instead those "individuals" around him makes an attention to Manny for him to be the priority as the legend's next opponent.

I agree. Spence said that he will give Pacquaio the retirement money he needed, LOL. We all know what happened to guys who trash-talked Manny.  Grin. I'm sure 60%-70%, we will gonna see this fight next, it's more competitive and Spence will be on a rude awakening and will regret everything he says against Manny.

Both move to slow compared to Manny Pacquiao, Pacquiao on his prime will easily beat these two guys, but Manny can still beat Spence at this point of time I don't see anything special on Spence so if they face it will be a win for Manny Pacquiao.

The only advantage Spence got from Pacquiao is speed and reach advantage, However, we know Pacquiao fought bigger guys in his prime so I think he will not have a problem dealing with that disadvantage. It will be a good match, and I'm seeing Pacquiao able to squeeze in and get a win if ever he fight Spence in the future.
Ofcourse the age also is advantage of spence from Manny Pacquiao

But just today Manny’s camp release a statement that still Mayweather is on the first on the list that Manny wanted to have in the ring

But there is spence or garcia that in the option whenever Mayweather declines the invitation

I also heard in the news that he really wanted Mayweather, Manny is not getting any younger he wants to make a grand exit and that is to beat Mayweather, he only has few fights left maybe 2 more fights and he can fight once or twice a year because of his being a Senator so let's hope it will happen.

Talking about Pacquiao against Spence, I would still bet on the old and reliable fighter which demolished young and aspiring fighters. I know Spence is a good fighter but he is still not capable of defeating the Pacman.
Pacman can still pull that trigger bro and IMO, Spence is far behind Pacman during his peak years. Even now that Pacquiao is 40 years old, he still quicker than ordinary boxers and can knock out opponents with that left straight. If Pacman vs  Spence will push through, my money will be on the veteran fighter from the Philippines bro.

It's not a question whether Pacquiao can pull the trigger, because he can still put a hurt on those young boxers we have right now. The question is whether their chin can hold when Pacquiao hits them.

Spence chin hasn't been tested because his previous opponents hasn't hit him that hard. But if ever he fights Pacquiao if will different, he hasn't fought anything like Manny, the experience, the footwork and of course those quick hands. So I'm sure Manny will be the betting favorite again, if this fight push through.

You said it right, Pacquiao type of fighting can still defeat younger champs, maturity and flexibility will do the job done much better, if this fight will
materialized, it's another exciting game for Pacquiao to watch out, though we are still waiting for Floyd vs Manny  rematch but this one is also good
and entertaining to watch out.

Yes, it will be a good fight if Pacquaio's schedule will allow him to fight this year again, Spence said he is willing to do so, most probably just a matter of time and money in the table for this two fighters, one a legend and the other a upcoming star, so it will be entertaining. However, Pacquaio's priority is still Floyd Mayweather Jr. But what Floyd see during the Broner fight, he may not give Pacquaio the rematch.

Prior before the fight, I watched some of Mikey's past fights and I am impressed but was surprised that he fell very short on everyone's expectations Spence schooled him, there was no answer on Spence attack, but not yet the end of Mikey's career, he is still one of the best Mexican boxers in this era.

If you look at Pacquiao's last two fights you can see that he can outlast these young and fresh fighters so if the fight push through Pacquiao can push Spence to the limit, I just hope he will not do Horn's kind of fighting.

It was a disaster for Pacquiao to fight Horn. I mean he really won that fight, but it was a home town decision. Yes, as I have said, Pacquiao will able to pull through specially if the fight goes to distance if ever the two faces this year. Spence might be having a hard time making 147 lbs again as he is really too big for that weight limit.

I beg to disagree with the speed advantage. Pacquaio still possesses the quick hands and feet that we all know of it. So I gave Pacquiao the advantage on that category. But I agree that Spence being tall, his record shows 5-9 (some put him 5-10), but as you have said Pacquaio has so much experience fighting taller guys that height is not a problem, case in point Margarito and Oscar dela Hoya or Algieri.

~  snip ~

I agree that it was somewhat boring and that Robert Garcia should has stepped up and call the fight to a stop in round 10, he is right, his little brother is taking so much punishment, no need to go to another two rounds because at that point, he already loss the fight. Mikey should really go down and try to clean the division on 135 lbs, that alone could be a accomplishment. No need to go up in weight, those guys are really big at 147 and punches too hard also.

@coin-investor, Ranly123 - Yes, Pacquaio has a chance of beating Spence even if he is old. One advantage is experience for Manny, at 40 he can still go and brawl with those young champions we have at 147 lbs division.

Boring fight, I watched it and I must say that Garcia does not belong to that division, he is too small, and too freaking slow and he should go down to 135-140 lbs. It was a mismatch actually, reminds me of Floyd vs Marquez, wherein Floyd just pot-shoting Marquez.

In this case, jab-jab and then those looping right left, sort of a left hook and then jab on the body. And when he goes inside to cut the length, Errol did more than damage. Mickey has a good round in round 5, but not enough though as Spence is too slick and too intelligent. Robert should have stopped it around round 10, imho as this is a boxing clinic showed by Spence.

Yes, it would be intriguing to see Pacquiao vs Spence, next.

Ok, so as expected, Errol Spence won the fight and it was a one sided decision.

Quote
Connecticut’s Glenn Feldman (120-107), Florida’s Alex Levin (120-108) and Puerto Rico’s Nelson Vazquez (120-108) each scored their FOX Sports Pay-Per-View main event a shutout for Spence (25-0, 21 KOs). Spence successfully defended the IBF welterweight title for the third time in the headliner of a 17-bout card that drew a huge crowd of 47,525 to AT&T Stadium, the home of the Dallas Cowboys.

But what's intriguing is Pacquiao is there to watch the fight and even went inside the ring and have something to say  Grin

Are we expecting for a Pacquiao-Spence fight next? Will it be the changing of the guards? Spence is now regarding as #1 pound for pound and we all know that Pacquiao used to hold that 'titles' year ago. What do you guys think?

I haven't seen a thread about this two, this is a exciting fight as Mikey Garcia moves two weight class and challenge Errol Spence for the IBF welterweight belt on March 16.

Source: https://www.boxingscene.com/mikey-garcia-errol-spence-get-best-me--136441

I don't think that Mikey Garcia though could get a win here. He is not a natural 147 lbs and Spence is on a different league. I'm expecting Spence to win a UD and give Garcia his first career loss. Please take note that Spence name has been throw as well in the Manny sweepstakes so it's gonna be exciting to see this fight as well.

What are your thoughts about the fight?

It is indeed that Mikey Garcia is a great fighter with an undefeated record but jumping into two weight division will take a toll in his performance. I think it would be a Spence UD win over Garcia this time because of the preparation difference between the two fighters. Garcia will go through a hell of a training to get the fight he used to while Spence will just do the conditioning and maintaining his weight until the fight night.
There's no way that Mikey can upset Spence here. Yes, he is a great champ but I would say that he is that not on the same level as Spence. The only advantage that Mikey has is that he has a good trainer in his brother we really guided his career up to this point. But this is a bad matchup for him and yes Spence with a UD or even a KO.
