Another whale took the risk and came out successful on the Bell vs Bernaldez fight. Maybe this is the same bettor who bet 192K USD for Gonzales vs Luis Porozo.

Unfortunately, the streak has stopped as the Filipino lost his fight against a tall Albert Bell, at 6'0 and obviously take advantage by using his jab to make Mark Bernaldez very uncomfortable in the early going of the fight. And it was a shut out as all the 3 judges score the fight for Bell, 100-90.

Not bad on trying to get some luck, that odds was really attractive but it's very clear from the very beginning that Bell has a bigger chance of winning since he is the heavy favorite, if it resulted to an upset, that could have give @bisdak40  a good return of his bet.

Yeah not bad, it's worth a try because of that attractive odd. If they will fight again, i'll still bet for the Filipino fighter  Grin. Have not watch the full fight yet but seeing the highlights, Bell uses his length wisely, height really matter on that fight.

Ramirez got his revenge though not by knockout but a win is still a win. I do think that Top Rank is grooming this kid to become a world champion someday and a fight with Stevenson is inevitable and could be money fight for both.

Thanks for your comments on this thread guys, will be lacking this thread in a few hours.

Next time, we gonna catch those huge odds in our favour.  Smiley. I will keep an eye on Bell though, it seems that he has a good potential and has the tools, good jab, know how to used his reach and a few wins will potentially give him a crack.

Not the end of the road for Mark, just bad stylistic match up for him. I do hope that he will be given more exposure as well.

I did not bet on this match but if i had bet i would have chosen "Bernaldez" because of the attractive odds. Fortunately i did not bet and my money is saved. However Bernaldez disappointed me, he should have played a little better.

Just the breaks of the game mate, @bisdak40 take the risk again, but it didn't went his way. Just another day for a gambler. I haven't seen the fight myself, but just looking at the physical stats on paper, the Filipino is really at a dis-advantage but I'm sure the Filipino warrior mentality and did try his best. Good learning experience for him though. We don't know, we might hear from this Mark Bernaldez in the future.
We can clearly see that the bid advantage is on the opponent, but we know Filipinos are good in boxing and yet they are still underrated. Just like Manny Pacquiao when he started fighting in the US, he was also an underrated until he keep proving and now he gain the respect from the oddsmaker, it's very rare now to see him being an underdog but if we bet on him during the early days of his career, we could be making easy money.

Robeisy Ramirez Gets Revenge, Decisions Adan Gonzales Over Six

Quote
This was the result Robeisy Ramirez expected nearly one year ago—but one he will gladly take on the second try.

The two-time Olympic Gold medalist and current featherweight prospect avenged his lone career defeat, outpointing Denver’s Adan Gonzales over six rounds Thursday evening at MGM Grand Conference Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Judges Max DeLuca, Dave Moretti, Glenn Trowbridge all scored the contest 60-54 favor of Ramirez in the ESPN-televised opener.

So finally a revenge, but I wasn't able to bet here, as I'm not familiar with either of the two.

Bob Arum already hyping this kid, Lol, no surprise as Ramirez is fighting under the Top Rank banner. So lets see what the future is, for this kid and if he can live up to the hype.

Heads up guys, odds are available now on the bookies and if anyone of you are interested then it's a great opportunity to bet now. Good odds for the Filipino boxer, hoping that Mark Bernaldez will not break the streak.

Thanks again, will try to bet on this fight to continue our winning streak. It is really a good odds and very attractive, nothing to lose here for Mark, and I'm sure he will bring home the bacon again for the Philippines and we have something to cheer on in this pandemic.  Grin

It seems like the odds have dropped a bit, I checked now it's currently 11 and I do the price boost and it increased to 12.
Nitrogen has a better odds as what Vaculin shared.

Wow, I would not hesitate putting my money, at x12, I think Bernaldez was heavily underestimated here.

By the way, what sportsbook is that, is it sportsbet?

edit : may I also ask what channel and what time the fight will start?

It will be through ESPN channel, not sure about the time yet, I was searching but could not find what time it will start in Philippine Time.

https://boxrec.com/en/event/808663

I found a better odds, and according to Nitrogensports, the fight will start at 9:00 AM Philippine time.

If the odds are kinda good for Robeisy Ramirez, I'm going for this guy, height and age is much favor on him.

No betting odds for this one yet.

VS

Boxing records update for these two boxers;
In terms of experience, Adan Gonzales got the advantage but in knockouts, Robeisy Ramirez is favor. And the lost, Adan Gonzales already got 2 loss, while Robeisy Ramirez only 1 loss.
If the odds are kinda good for Robeisy Ramirez, I'm going for this guy, height and age is much favor on him.

Both are B-class fighters, but I've got my money on Ramirez. I don't think either of these guys could be Stevenson or will ever hold a major title.

Ramirez is the fresher fight, received less battle damage throughout his career as far as I've seen. He's also slicker and able to fight on the backfoot better, which is useful since Gonzales is almost certainly going to try and pressure him in the mid-to-late rounds.

I wouldn't place too much money on them though, since this is basically a 55/45% fight IMO.

With all the comments above this post, Ramirez is the overwhelming favorite to win this rematch and if i may translate this to betting odds, it would look like this.

Ramirez = 1.02   Gonzales = 6.00

With the above odds, i'm willing to act as a house  Grin. Just for fun, if anyone willing to bet, just quote this post and amount of your bet.
Take note of the following conditions.

If you are betting for Gonzales:
>Minimum bet is 0.0001BTC
>Maximum over-all bet for Gonzales is 0.003BTC

If you are betting for Ramirez:
>Maximum over-all bet for Ramirez is 0.050BTC

I would take bets from users who have commented above this post and minimum rank is Senior Member.
As the fight is very near, deadline for betting is 8:00 PM forum time today.
If i missed some important rules please let me know.

Let's have some fun guys  Grin.

It might be revenge for Ramirez but can't simply think that Ada will just let it happen easier and for sure, he got all his training and preparation for the said event. Both of them are still young and hungry for promotion and to prove also whos smart and really have the power punch to throw.
Well, I have to expect a great fight and I hope Ramirez had already learned from their previous fight.

The event of their previous fight.
https://www.badlefthook.com/2019/8/10/20800522/robeisy-ramirez-pro-debut-loss-scores-adan-gonzales-espn-boxing-top-rank
I was looking for another at this time and that revenge they say will possibly make possible.
It should Ramirez have to control the fight until the end for he has the chance to win otherwise, he will still be defeated. If he was able to learn from their previous fight, it serves him as a tool to take down Ada. However, I believe also that Ada had something to show which it gives struggles for his opponent.

Anyway, we can't certainly figure out the possible result. Things can be sorted out during the fight.
