They already have this tipping reward on the website brave user visited. So if you own a website and a brave user like your site, they can tip BAT to your site. Have not tried this though.
As far as I know, if you want to get tipped you need to apply as brave publisher first, and whenever everyone tip you you will get your payment later in a month to your uphold account. People use youtube channel or personal bloggers to do this, I'm more convenient to use twitter account if possible, lol.

Brave was based on Chromium browser and has a good vision on how to advertise using your own browser with fast, safe privacy browser but they must think of a game changer that can shake the masses to start using their platform and tipping function for twitter would be a stepping stone but I it will be much more better if they target those live-streaming platforms as tipping there is a norm, Facebook do have live-streaming and it's trending right now if Brave push through it then that would be a hit for them.
I think there BRAVE would have a problem integrating tipping on facebook platform. Facebook is planning to launch their own coin these 2020 so I think that conflict if ever BRAVE developer propose such idea to the facebook platform or think of integrating BAT reward to facebook users but then there is no harm in trying, and if successful it would give even bigger impact than the twitter tipping integration.

This is a very good attempt from the Brave browser. They are trying to get the big platform's users! Giving tip to the content creators seems like an appreciation, that's why I like the Brave browser. Though I haven't tried how to tip to the content makers but seems Brave browser is getting notice everywhere. After Twitter, if Brave browser can collaborate with Facebook, that will be huge!
Does that mean personal twitter account will be able to be brave publisher or something? It will be great as there will not be only youtube or personal blogs but also personal social media account. People don't need to get confused, or to pass several complicated processes just to become publisher.
I don't think that this is about being brave publisher, but rather when you use the brave browser and open twitter, you will see a tipping option on every tweet. Meaning you can reward BAT to those tweets that you like or support and receive rewards from your tweet if someone likes it and sent you tip.

Why should I continue to use a browser who floods my page with an advertisement, I spend my time and my money to view ad without any reward! I have migrated to Brave browser, am yet to start getting ads.

Been using Brave browser for a while and it's fast. If they implemented the tipping function on brave then it's a great feature. The more use case of BAT tokens it will help the price increase. I hope this could be done in Facebook and Instagram.
Cool update. I have been waiting a very long time for Brave rewards to start but when their announcement came supposedly some countries weren't going to be onboarded yet. Guess I was one of the countries because I've yet to see any rewards available to me. Maybe once it does, this might be one more reason to reactivate my Twitter.

You can already receive bat tokens by enabling ads, you can use the tokens you receive to tip your favorite websites, yes he'll receive the token you've given, i believe you can send btc not just bat token.

I am using brave browser, it is what it is on the review. I have seen several improvement that enable users to browse smoothly, less memory intensive like google and since it is made from chromium, almost all the extenstion of google is compatible with the browser.
But Im wondering when will be the implementation of this.
It is currently at testing phase so we have to wait for the announcement until this testing stage is finalized.

Is it already possible to withdraw the BAT tokens to a personal wallet? Because until that is possible, this idea, although it is good and can be extended to Facebook, Instagram or LinkedIn users, will not have a big impact.

i think it's confirmed because i just visit any twitter accounts from the brave browser and i found the tipping button in the browser.
But i think it will be good if we tip other people and they get notified that we tip him.

I think it is great innovation of crypto activity. I am sure that many social users will encourage to join this project. I can also say that it is very wise and great marketing strategy using social media because all we know that using social media is very accessable to reach your target market . You got a very good marketing knowledge to promote not only your project but also a whole crypto industry.

I've been using brave from onset, even right now. If this info is correct, then it's a plus to BAT and will definitely increase use of brave browser. Thanks for the heads up.
