I'm sure after all this time, and bitcoin prices are rising, there is a possibility that a store that accepts bitcoin in brazil has also been increased, perhaps even already widespread in several cities, may soon brazil will accept bitcoin as one sat transaction tools they use

Brazil is doing great i dont know what europe is doing because we dont have just one shop in my country and such as a country as brazil already got 150 of them maybe more.

Great for brazil and i think that more stores need to be implemented, bitcoin is a great thing to have in stores! they can charge the country dollar value and just make more money when the stock goes up! Bitcoin is really going to shoot up for businesses that use it because they will most likely make a ton of money unless it ends up going out of business.

Will the upcoming Olympics in Rio make bitcoin a lot more popular in Brazil? I hope that there will be more stores that accept bitcoin because for sure there will be a lot more tourists coming to watch the Olympics. That should be another opportunity for bitcoin to make itself known to more people.

We grow from 30 to 150 in 6 months Smiley
That's a really good growth. Currently There're 29 "businesses" who accept bitcoin in Turkey (I think there're more but we may not be able to track them) Some of them are listed on coinmap.org
(Turkish List is here: http://coin-turk.com/turkiyede-bitcoin-kabul-eden-yerler/ )

I hope there'll be such jump in Turkey too.

First we need to build our coalition, then make pressure to government. Bitcoin has no where in Turkish law, they can't explain its situation too.

Brazil has a law for Bitcoin? How do stores keep their Bitcoin and how do they pay taxes?
Look at how far they came brazil is doing just great i dont know why they are doing great as it goes about the bitcoin and other countrys just wait and not just even have one store.

This is nsomething un fair because how can we have 150- stores in whole brazil ok brazil is big so 150 is nothhing for them but in some countrys we dont even have just one....

That is not unfair at all, Brazil's  government and even the stores are considering the potential of bitcoin as they can see the convenience when they are going to adopt bitcoin in their society. I feel sorry about your country, I hope your country also will going to accept bitcoin. Here in my country, you can buy some services with bitcoin and that's good very convenient even there are few but still good same feeling with Brazil.

It really good that Brazil has recognize the potential and importance of bitcoin. That's why there are lot's of store who are accepting bitcoin.
And I think it is more than 200 now that are accepting bitcoins now.
And for sure after the halving there are going more stores that will try to accept bitcoins.

Yes they are having a lot of nice stores over there, I really hope the bitcoin is gonna grow a lot in the upcoming years in other country's.

I think it is already a long time ago, and I hope op is going to update the post and title if how many are the total stores who are now accepting
bitcoins to their products and services.
Brazil is a really nice country for Bitcoin and it should be nice if there will be more people that is going to make Bitcoin more acceptable so you can spend it more also.
And there must be more people that will get to know about it because the value of Bitcoin is now also going to rise.

Limited in number. Limitless in potential.
Wow! This good new for bitcoin world, people start to adopt bitcoin as payment, and it seems like bitcoin is now popular. I wish there are physical stores too like that in our country, but we have online shops here in our country that accept bitcoin as payment. Just slowly bitcoin will be adopted here also I guess.

I read today that the city of Rio is near bankrupt, With them hosting the Olympic games merchants will prefer bitcoin then any other form of payment I think.
Their country is in a financial despair for months now, and with the government wanting to tax them... bitcoin seems to be the perfect payment gateway.

150 is a lot and I bet that it are right now already more in brazil because this thread is pretty old if you are asking me.
All over the globe the bitcoin is growing!

That's great to know. I hope that bitcoin will be more popular and other store in other country will use bitcoin to be another mode of payment. I'm excited Cheesy
Yeah ! It makes me too very happy when I see the market and popularity of bitcoin getting more and more and the shops who are already accepting bitcoins from $250 to $400 price levels, must have realized the power of bitcoin. This will push other merchants to follow them.

Honestly this is really good news, and i hope that this works out for brazil and these 150 stores, as if they are a success then i'm sure the rest of brazil will follow suit soon after, who knows what effect this will have on a relatively poor and dangerous country
If it's a success then we may see more bitcoin accepting stores over in the eu and other places, which personally, i think, would be great provided brazils success is a clear and defined one, anyway, here's to hoping

Wow 150 stores in a country today is a big deal. Do they ship worldwide Tongue

Well you might laugh, but i think that 150 stores are more than 0 for sure, so we should be happy that there are more and more bitcoins-accepting stores

And i think that other stores in other countries will think about accepting  bitcoins now as there are many people that wants to pay in them
