Sounds extremely questionable on more than one level.
Even if true just very recently a German bank became a Ripple Gateway as I recall ? , so it's not like their not finally making some real progress.
Ripple isn't a competitor of Bitcoin or other Cryptocurrencies, many don't understand that either, but that's no surprise. Ripple can be used to transfer and send payments in any currency, cryptocurrency or otherwise.

I wonder why Jed would be using a Newbie profile there, and right there this is just far too fishy to want to wade in any deeper imo. This is just too fishy. review all the posts. Far too fishy...
Jed will go public if this is legit soon enough, but even so it wont cause myself to sell off any of the ripple that was given to many of us here at bitcointalk.org in early 2013.
Buy on the rumor, and sell on the news. Not the other way around.
Besides maybe it's a hostile takeover. That could be a good thing for holders of ripples long term, depending...

xrp were not meant to be a currency. just the stamp that gets licked onto each ripple transaction to cover ripples costs of their service.
if he is dumping all his ripple then he is dispersing more stamps to circulation to continue transactions to flow.

Seems very real since the poster has access to the account with all the ripple.
I don't have many xrp. Waiting to see if it hits the market in one big hit or if some big investor buys it all from him in private. I see some people wanting to hear his price. What do you estimate he would ask for it all factoring in the price impact of dumping all of that at one time?

It doesn't particularly seem to be confirmed. So until then it's just rumor, no?
He sent 1 XRP to a user from his personal XRP account. It has also been verified through email and IP.

Anyone knows what is the status of Jed's secret project now ? Is this anyway related to that ? Like he's probably going to kick start his project (for which he was looking for alpha testers) and hence getting rid of Ripple.
