Such news are excellent for BTC,we need more of them every day to get more people involved which will certainly have a positive impact on the price.But it should definitely be taken into consideration that something need to be done with block size and the possibility of fork and split of blockchain.
If something like that happens no one should expect a rise in price,just the opposite.

Anything that grows 100% in 3 months is sure to attract investors from different places. I am glad Brits has chosen to acknowledge bitcoin instead of banning it. Apparently some countries aren't as smart as them. We have a great push since January, if we somehow solve the scaling issue and convince BU supporters into Segwit, there is no reason for bitcoin to reach 10k$ this year, maybe even more.
Indeed, this is another achievement for Bitcoin since this will hopefully expand the already big market of the currency. Hope that Britain can also benefit from the many advantages Bitcoin is bringing to early adopters. Just like Japan, South Korea and Australia, many British can now enjoy full access to Bitcoin and presumably altcoins as well.
I am keeping my fingers crossed for that dreamed 10K level for Bitcoin before the year ends...though even if it will not happen that way am sure that Bitcoin is really have no choice but to rise.

This is kinda like the approval of a ETF by the SEC to allow bigger investors to enter the Bitcoin scene. The UK has been Bitcoin friendly for a while now, but this will open the door to more serious investors and not just the average Bitcoin enthusiast. ^smile^

Well here I am much happy with this news because here in my country the government is looking and tracking transaction of the Bitcoin and how did are using by us and what are the advantage and if there is any bad impact at the economy of the country .

Too good news for the community this shall help the popularity of Bitcoin to grow even further and shall send the prices through the roof. With brexit also looming what if England decides to make it their official currency. I am waiting for that day, it shall be a big boost for every one who planning to go UK for studies and even investment purpose. I can't wait to invest in this notes and get going, but will there be any taxes or will the government somehow know this I am investing?

That's right. Every news like this became trendy yet still can't feel the impact that it brought to btc. But this time I think this will be a great one because I've over heard that Japan and Australia began accepting Bitcoin as a mode of payment and Japan legalizes it ( you can pay flights in Japan airlines using BTC) . This two countries are well developed enough and can be followed by other countries so we might have a big chance on this one.

I'm interested to see if this is going to work in the long run, it should and there is little that can go wrong assuming the government doesn't try to get their hands into everything happening, but you never know these days.
Might be an interesting way to help stimulate the UK's economy after Brexit and get more foreign money involved. Not a bad strategy if that's what they intend to go for.

I think that real world access and adoption of bitcoin is genuinely improving even though some people are suggesting that it is pure hype that the bitcoin price has been absolutely going nuts over the past few weeks.
For example, Japan and Australia, not exactly superpowers but still all G12 countries. Both of them have accepted btc as a legal form of payment over the previous weeks/months.
Great news to bitcoin in general, hopefully more merchants start accepting btc worldwide.
