Wow.. i am freezer right now, i can not understand why all the countries are banning ico's, what is the real problem with them? because i can not understand it, everyday i login to this forum i see that there is  X country going to ban icos, first was china, then india, japan, and now korea? how do you know it is true?
Oh i really hope it is not going to happen, it would be a mess if that is true.

The Goverment of many country will ban ICOs because reasons:
The first ICOs are out of control : Everyday have many new ICOs were borned and many ICOs rised more than 10 millions dollars and the Goverment of all country want to control these ICOs to tax collection. i think this is true
Second many ICOs are scams: Investor will be lost their money in ICOs scam and goverment of all country want to protect their people before this

Do we have Koren friends here that can verify if this is true? Smiley Anyway, I really don't get it why countries are banning ICO. I think much better they need to do is "regulate" it and register it to a government related department. But banning ICO is like living in rock era and you can't accept what digital is capable of.

What it says is "Korea will ban any kind of ICO." It is official from the Government.

Anything that is in the form of Token can also be considered to be ICO.

Recall what happened when China banned all ICO. The Korean crypto market is as big as China (now it is bigger).
is this true infonya? if it can be bad ICO world,
hopefully the impact is not too significant and ico still exist

Well we'll see all red market because of this, but as far as I know that there's really few ICOs project from south korean but pretty sure that there's many investors there.
it's time for South korean ICO investor to cashout, or else, will be punished.

edit: well as long as it's not fake news, otherwise, means nothing lol.

LOL.  Grin This is fake news at most. What the f*ck are you thinking in posting the link of this shit here? The site is a dubious one which means that it might be one shit site spreading fake news. Another thing is that the news is saying the announcement is made on February 29, that is too far gone. It is not even an article. It is only composed of like less than 300 words.  Grin

I can't read what you link says, but I can find other sources from eariler this month stating pretty much the same... I'm not sure that this news will shock the market, as it's been known for a month that S. Korea was moving towards "punishing" ICO developers.
