It is true so there is no way we could know that he was dead or not because we do not even know if he really exist. Whether he exist or not or dead or alive, the thing is his legacy will continue as he is such a brilliant man who gives everyone an opportunity to earn. His creation was so wonderful that everyone can earn as long as they have access to computers. We may not know him or if his name is real but until Bitcoin is around Satoshi exist and alive.

1. Bitcoin tech will not be affected in any way whatsoever unless Nakamoto's left some blueprints of improvements to the tech.

2. Bitcoin might get volatile while the buzz remains.

We still are pretty much clueless about who is Satoshi Nakamoto and it has not affected us so far. I don't think it'll make any difference even then.

Bitcoin technology would not be affected. It would still continue at a successful rate. The price would not really be affected. Supply and demand are not affected at all and thus the price would continue on its trend. The community would probably react with sorrow. After all, the creator of Bitcoin just died. But the fact that he/she/they had stayed anonymous for this long, whilst Bitcoin developed by itself, would probably decrease the emotional impact on the community. No one other than the early developers would have known Satoshi. I would expect them to be affected the most.

To cut a long story short, Bitcoin would not be affected...much.

There is literally nothing that could happen if it is the case as it not revolved around a single individual like the rest of the coins,but if the real satoshi was there for the project even now then his voice does carry some weight age when it comes to the scaling debate.

I effin hate clickbait. There is nothing that points to the fact that the guy is dead.

Being this a theoretical thread, I theorize that:

1. Bitcoin technology would not be affected

2. The price of a Bitcoin would only significantly vary if the guy had left a will demanding all his Bitcoins be dumped on the market ASAP

3. The community would only be devastated in case of 2. , otherwise they might shed a tear and then quickly get on with their life.

People always love a good story, and the story of genius inventing something that changed the world it is attractive as it is, when you add the fact we do not know who he is, then everything becomes even more attractive to many, every time there is a great discovery or invention people want to know who was the person to created that, in our case we are never going to know and that makes it all even more magical, at least to me it does.

I really hope this man lives a long and healthy life and away from everyone's eye. If his identity comes in reality, all the enforcement agencies will try to get hold of him and he will stay behind bars for no reason. However, to answer your question, there will be no impact in bitcoin price or technology. It will remain same.

However, few people will feel sad that the best innovator of our times has died but market will show no impact for sure. Bitcoin community is 43 billion strong and it's not easy to shake.

It will not change anything to Bitcoin if Satoshi is dead or not, we would still continue using bitcoin as usual.
