Just an update guys Uploaded has added the Feature to their page as of today. I tested paying for a one month premium and it works fine!

I would be happier to see Amazon accepting Bitcoins instead of a platform for stolen goods. Not good for Bitcoin reputation... makes Bitcoin look shady and unattractive for "real" companies.

Like the internet?

I think that would pump up the pir8 scene 10X.

agreed. a pir8 surge would be good for bitcoin values (and more importantly imho, bitcoin liquidity).

+more 'clean' businesses.. we could do with both Cheesy

Porn-site reselling doesn't make BTC look shady then?
I'm a single person and not a big warez reseller company like ul.to. I offer to sign you up at realitykings.com directly, the porn producers themself will get the money and not some stupid kiddies for "their" uploads or a warez company.

ul.to will sure give Bitcoins a push(in the german speaking part of europe) i'm just saying i would prefer to see more clean business companies.

That's good for two things:

#Every company joining the BTC train is good for us
#Warez1337s haz n0ledg3 ab0ut interwebz and likes BTC

Bitcoin is antisemitic
I am still waiting for a file host who PAYS uploaders in bitcoins. I think that would pump up the pir8 scene 10X.

The internet is full of people who want to spend pocket change for download credits but have no means to do so (PayPal doesn't let them, no credit card, etc)

Also full of people who have credit cards, but don't want to use them to pay for pirated material, which people often upload to 1-click hosters.

Bitcoin will help them stay anonymous while enjoying premium service.

If you want to walk on water, get out of the boat
Wonderful news!

You should post this in the main forum  Cheesy

And i quote Jack of diamonds, being able to spend by using bitcoin is very nice, much much simpler than having to use a credit card or paypal or what else

I'd say this is a pretty good achievement. They're a medium to big sized player in the filehosting market.

Persuade filesonic, filefactory, megaupload/rapidshare to accept BTC and you will start seeing mass adaption of bitcoins just for this one market

as the first file hosting service worldwide, to accept bitcoins.

This is not true. Wuala is accepting bitcoins for a while now.

But these are great news. Lots of people use uploaded.to

EDIT: OK, it may be true for 1 click hosters. Wuala has more of a Dropbox/Sugargync approach.

well, I don't want to claim to be the sole responsible for this, however I consider my mail to them helped. Let's see if some filesonic/fileserve see a reason to follow uploaded's lead :-)

well, it seemed to be the best place here, as the "Market Discussion", although being described as "place to discuss sites accepting BTC" seems to be the wrong place, as almost any site promoted there is just either spam or a fraudulent lottery scheme. But since a supporting corporation with that kinds of trade volumes is a whole new global player, I figured it would suit this section as well
