I do know Jujitsu.  I'm a Brazilian Jujitsu brown belt with more than a decade of experience.
I also have several years of wrestling experience as well.

If I could wrestle a 700lb bear, I know I can take on a 180lb Ver.

LOL... Bears don't know jujuitsu.

Neither does Ver.  He took kyokushin karate and if you ever watched him fight it’s rather silly.

If this ever goes down I got my money on Bruno the Bear Brawler. Smiley

I just came across this thread while searching for something else.

I'm open to the idea if:

1.  The proceeds go to a charity of the winners choice.
2. Everything is filmed and put on youtube.
3. We are of similar weight.  (I walk around at 162 lbs and can easily make 155)

I'd bet Roger is a little busy these days, but if this gets for real I know a guy that does MMA videos professionally. He's in the Twin Cities, but I'm sure for the right amount of btc he'd come to Chicago.

Unless a better idea is put forth, http://betsofbitco.in/ can handle the wagering, although a way to skim off for the purse stills needs a solution.

Also, I haven't heard from Roger Ver in regard to this event. I'll even let him dictate most of the terms, since it's his butt that's at stake here.

PS: Maybe he just needs more time to think about it.

This smells like the viral lead into the announcement of the first ever bitcoin collections agency. Prolly called VerGage or something equally ridiculous.

And it must be videotaped, preferably by at least two cameramen.

I'm probably one of the few here that would not fear getting in the ring with Roger Ver, going mano y mano. Would make a fine betting event come next spring, giving Roger some time to get in shape.

Boxing Bitcoiners?!?  Where do I sign up?

Somebody should put this together. My only request is that the venue be in the Midwest, namely the Chicagoland area, probably in a MMA ring. I will forgo accepting the winning purse money and pretty sure Roger will not accept the losing purse. The total purse going to a charity of his choosing.

If I could wrestle a 700lb bear, I know I can take on a 180lb Ver.

I will entertain a different venue if the stakes are high enough to benefit Roger's chosen charity.

Who wants to take charge of putting this together while I continue to conduct my business here in Sandwich and Roger Ver gets in shape?
