Forked coins are nothing but the joke. You cannot trust these coins for long term. Remember what happened with BCH? It went as high as $4000+ but now struggling around $400-500.
So I will always suggest people to avoid purchasing these coins for long term. If you got free units, you can hold them and sell in pumps. But if you planning to buy them then just make sure sell them in shorter span.

There might be whales manipulating the price with fake news and claims. But I don't think BCH would have anything to do with in, Bitcoin SV is a BCH fork and direct competitor to it. Craig and BCH are not in good terms.
