you don't need any bars to start mining - I probably miss-understand your question  Smiley
you should be able to git clone http:/github.com/crypto-currency/bitbar
and compile it on  the Pi
I did a year ago on the banana Pi - I don't remember too many problems.
follow the linux bulid in the DOC folder

I meant how many coins need to be transferred to a purse?
you can have as many as you like, there is no minimum.
as for staking - I would suggest block sizes of 10 or more.
5% annual is not much when divided by 12 months.( stake age is 30 days)

10 btb stake reward will be around .041 each time (.041 *12 times a year = .492)

Whoops forgot to report i switched back to the v 0.4.4.007 and poof it synced almost instant after i restarted it.
Tried again on my other machine to get the v 0.7.5.1 version to sync .... even after 7 days running nothing still not fully synced
Replaced the exe again with the 007 and poof again almost instant done.
So something is not right in that release.

7.5.1 windows-qt works for me. Cryptopia is using 7.5.1
You can continue to use v4.4 if you want - it is not a mandatory update.
It just adds the ability to unlock for staking, and added zapwallettx to the rpc calls.

Will be hard to get people to switch to an old coin which is not having new toys like an android wallet and such play things people like these days.
Look at groestl coin and see how much these guys do, but i gotta be honest even though they did their best its suffering from the same problem as any steady coin.
Too many new coins released which is almost daily these days, ofcourse 99% of the new coins are crap coins with no real future.

How is this project going? is there still a continuation? I'm happy because there is a big pump this 2 months.
Bitbar project is still moving along. Advertising on http://bitcointalkradio.com is starting.
Hopefully that will bring more people to Bitbar.

Hi. I’m starting a list of the oldest cryptos. For now I’m maintaining the list on a bitcointalk thread but will eventually host a website. Hoping to add value to old coins by making the age rankings easy to look up.

Offering $20 in crypto bounty for additions/corrections. I want it to be accurate, but I’m sure I’ve made mistakes so could use your help please.

Thread with the list and details is here:

Thanks for the fractions of BTB distributed on cryptopia chat. I came to know this coin through your donation. I've already downloaded my wallet and I'm trying to mine this big coin.
Good luck with the mining!
I think as the price goes up, the mining hashrate will to.
within two days, difficulty went from 870 up to 1,176 currently.

Very interesting project but there is no buzz in media. I have found Bitbar because I am digging crypto world every day. I think normal person even a crypto beginner never heard of BTB. I don't know maybe some bounty for social media.
we are starting campaigns for social media like twitter:
https://twitter.com/spider_BTB
https://twitter.com/BitbarMedia

and advertising on http://bitcointalkradio.com

Also submitting bitbar to other exchanges.

You can join our Discord for Bitbar at https://discord.gg/k3gAWeE
always glad to have suggestions - and always looking for team members!
time to start buzzing  Smiley

The bitbar.co webpage appears unavailable since yesterday
And this optional 0.7.5.1 release wallet stays stuck at the last 2 block(s) and simply seems never to be completely updated
Its been running for 2 hours now and has not updated these last 2 blocks

the sever is under a ddos attack, so web site will be hard to get to until the attack is over.
check your wallet against the block explorer - you can get to it here:
