For those who aren't aware yet we announced we accepted 100,000 USD in venture funding earlier today!

You can read the blog entry from our investor here: http://mostinteresting.co/2015/01/22/advertisements-can-be-interesting/

You can read a story about it on Coin Fire here: https://coinfire.io/2015/01/22/btc-ad-network-raises-100k/

We will be making a few announcements about new products and platforms soon.

We are working through the backlog of emails and messages from people hoping to join the network now!

Good to know that! Don't I am a great publisher, I am new to these things, so I asked! Grin

One last question, is there filter dor ads? What all types can the publisher filter? Is there custom filter? For example, if I don't want cloud mining ads to be shown, then adding cloud mining to filter - assuming you're manually verifying sites.

Sorry for the disturbance caused!

   ~~MZ~~

No disturbance at all!

We just had an issue with a publisher and a "bad advertisement" that slipped through and so we are finishing the filter feature on a faster schedule than originally anticipated.

Confirming we were the ones with the "bad advertisement" and that the team helped us correct it within an hour in the middle of the night.

We try to have someone manning things 24/7 if possible.

We've got some large news coming up soon.

Thanks once again! Smiley Do you accept faucets? From what ai have found, in most of the ad networks, faucets are the main publishers. Besides, I am going to build one and already have one but not started yet. So, I am thinking about using your service as it seems good. So I want to know whether you accept websites launched recently and also faucets.

    ~~MZ~~

We will accept faucets as they are a major part of cryptocurrency for new users.

We will work on a case-by-case basis with new sites. As you get closer to launching please don't hesitate to get in touch with us.

Sounds like you are crossing all of the Ts and dotting all of the Is and those are the sort of people that will make great publishers for us!

Okay! Thanks for the link! So, how many users can buy slots simultaneously? Slot being bought by a lot of people isn't good as the site may shutdown anytime unless you refund them. Does it have any limitation? Do you refund the users whose advertisement wasn't displayed or only displayed for some time? If yes, what is the criteria of refunding the users whose advertisement was displayed for some time? How much will you deduct from it? I like to get an answer especially for the CPM model. Smiley

    ~~MZ~~

Since we hold the funds from advertisement sales in escrow on our service until the publisher actually fulfills the advertisement sale if a website shuts down at some point before all of the pending inventory runs we will return the funds to the purchasers BTCAN wallet.

In the event an advertisement is terminated while running we will approach those on a case-by-case basis. Regarding CPM we would look at factors such as how much a single view would have cost and make a determination from that.

It is our hope that via our application process for determining which publishers can be on the site we can accept sites that aren't fly-by-night operations. We are evaluating things when a site applies such as how long they've been operating. We want to get to know our publishers because when they win, we win.

We are currently evaluating options regarding limitations of how far in the future an advertisement can be purchased. We are going to be doing some testing with various lengths of time but right now it appears we aren't going to allow advertisement purchases beyond 60 days in the future.

P.S. Don't you add links to websites? I couldn't find any links to Coinfire from their page from my phone.

Whoops! Sorry about that. We don't have an automatic option as of yet but we've been working on implementing one.

No problem! Smiley Can 2 or more users buy a slot simultaneously for now(till automatic option's integration)? Either automatic or simultaneous-buying should be there, automatic is better IMHO. There is no need for this option for time-period-base-buying but for CPA and CPM, it should be there. Otherwise, advertisers will have to wait till the number of impressions and/or clicks reach to buy it and if it is like that, it would be based on pure luck as there will be many others for advertising. So when there is simultaneous-buying, the ad can be shown according their submition order.

BTW, in post number #6, you typed CPA two times. Wink

   ~~MZ~~

Different publishers handle future purchases in different ways. For example Coin Fire simply displays advertisements in a FIFO way. So the first advertisements paid for are displayed and then next week the next one.

It is possible for 2 or more users to buy slots at the same time Smiley

Great eye regarding CPA twice Wink

If you'd like to see what an actual publisher profile looks like you can visit https://BTCadnetwork.com/coinfire.

They are currently selling advertising inventory via BTC AD Network.

Glad we've been able to answer some of your questions thus far!

Each advertisement features a different ID.

Each slot is provided with a unique code so you can have several advertisements on a single site with different sales methods, different costs, customers, and more.

Publishers can create as many advertisement slots for a site as they wish.

Thanks! You missed one of my questions. Smiley

Is there an automatic buying/bidding option for advertisers? If it isn't, it would be good and some options like slot_id, amount etc... is needed.

Great! Really professional! My doubts are solved for now.

[1] Do you provide different id for different ad_slots or just one for each website?

Hello! I like the layout! +1 for that! A few questions I would like to ask are:

   ~~MZ~~

Thanks for your questions, Muhammed.

We'd like to take a few minutes and tackle each of your questions here in the best manner that we can.

Quote
1) Is it a bidding site for ad slots like Adbit or buying-like ad network, i.e., once a person buys, his advertisement will be shown for X period?

The great news is that publishers get to determine which ad-sales method they are interested in using. For example, Coin Fire is selling advertisements on a tenancy basis. Each week, they are running a single advertisement that is priced in a static manner on a first-come-first-serve basis while another publisher on our network, Prizezilla, is selling advertisements in a CPA system. They are selling actions and we provide a post-back system. We allow advertisers to sell advertisements in a bidding system much like Adbit on a daily basis or on a CPM basis.

We are extremely flexible and offer a variety of sales methods that our advertisers can deploy. We understand that each publisher may have different needs from another so we do our best to accommodate each publisher's needs. Publishers can change the system they use for selling advertisements as they like via our backend as well.

Quote
2) If it is buying-like ad network, how much time these slot will be bought? Is it fixed to certain time or the publisher can choose the time period?

In the event a publisher is offering advertisements in that method, they also determine the time slots they would like to use. If they want a daily/weekly/monthly/etc. slot, we want to offer them the flexibility to do so.

Quote
3) What are the fees?

Great question! We know that no one wants to have their their sales eaten up by large fees.

We are offering our system for a cost of 1% of successful sales. This comes out immediately upon a successful sale in our system.

Quote
4) Invitation are send by the registered users or by you after publishers' register?

Advertisers can register immediately to purchase an advertisement without waiting for an invitation and can begin advertising on your site immediately.

We provide each publisher with a fully customizable sales kit that is generated in real-time on our website. You can provide a link to that page where you can detail information about your site, share certified traffic stats, and more information on your various advertisement units that advertisers can immediately purchase.

For publishers, we are currently determining who to invite on a case-by-case basis via emails with potential publishers. As we expand our network and our team, we will begin allowing registered publishers the ability to extend invitations to new publishers.

Quote
5) What are the advantages for advertisers and publishers?[1]

[1] Features that aren't in other ad networks.

We are still developing a long feature-list, but here are several items that we believe are advantages to our publishers and advertisers right now. We feel that few networks come close to this same level of features being offered in a single location.

  • Publishers can select various advertisement sales methods: CPA, CPM, Tenancy, CPA, etc.
  • Feature-rich, customizable, and well designed publisher profile pages.
  • Certified traffic statistics for advertisers to review on publisher profiles.
  • Account managers dedicated to helping you with your account.
  • Several integration methods of advertisements on your site.
  • Low fees.
  • Weekly development updates.

We hope this answers some of your questions. We really appreciate you asking them and hope we can answer yours and many others questions in the near future.

Please feel free to reach out with additional questions, comments, or suggestions.
