A server error means the server is still there, plugged and running. Running means that the core software connecting the server to the rest of the world is still doing its job. The 500 server error means that a software error (of unknown nature) is invoked when querying the database which the website is based upon.

Whatever that all means in terms of having our coins back, I can't say Smiley

Cause of HTTP 500 Errors

The 500 Internal Server Error is a very general HTTP status code that means something has gone wrong on the web site's server but the server could not be more specific on what the exact problem is.

Most of the time, "gone wrong" means an issue with the page or site's programming, nothing you have anything to do with.

Just to clarify, btc-arbs is NOT down. It's just their server responding with an internal error.

And this means that...?

Is it just me or is half of the forum users just to lazy to check at least the last 1, 2, 3, 4 pages of a given thread for answers?

I am in the same boat, lost about .7 BTC - and frankly I don't really care. What is gone, is gone and I don't gamble with anything I cannot afford to lose...

I'm not lazy, just want to understand. I don't know what a 500 error is and how it may help us to be sure this was a scam.
We know this site was suspicious. Let's see how this story ends...

theoretically it means the servers are down and ther emight be a good chance that they will fix the issue and make them up and running again..if that's the case, all these posts are in vain...if not...we can just be angry Smiley

Big outage still affecting our website and hopefully the only reason arbs is down. http://www.ibtimes.com/hostgator-bluehost-are-down-due-eig-outage-1523952

Yeah I've also noticed few other websites going down, but they're back again now.

about 33 hours ago i sent them 2 btc...waited for it to post(they say 1-8 hours)

21 hours ago(12 hours later)...i sent them a support ticket...."deposit not showing"

16 hours ago(5 hours later) i received..."sometimes it takes up to 24 hours for it to be credited to your account"

the site was off and on for me throughout the day but haven't seen the 500 error until now. it was just slow earlier...

hopefully it will be back.......................

I am sure their 10 employees are working hard on it right now on this bloody damn difficult 500 error.

":D"

Honestly it doesn't really make sense to stop right now like this, even though I have been saying it's a ponzi since the beginning. I do think there could be a chance that the site will be back online, but I don't really know how the average ponzi "stops".
