Members who post regularly on forum probably don't hold that much btc.

Since majority of them are wasting time rather than working on something more productive.

My BTC balance is a secret  Grin

But I can tell you that most of what I have has been put into altcoins,
the majority of which is Monero (XMR)

I just sent 3 BTC and destroyed 421 Bitcoin days. I've got quite a bit more than that.

i doubt that only 3 person have more than 50 here, where are all the early adopters?

A lot of early adopters prefer to use biticoins rather than to hoard them. After all, that's what it's all about. Bitcoins are worth nothing until you use them, and if everyone hoards them, they will be worth nothing.

it's better to use them directly though, not through fiat

Hi,

I know it has been done in the past. I'm in this game a year now. Saw a lot of posts that the majority of member don't have more then 1 btc. Because I'm a noob and I have more, I was just curious if it's still accurate Grin

Noone with large stacks of crypto wont come out and say their true value of holdings.
But its interesting to see that the amount of holdings converted in USD remains about the same, while in BTC it goes down more and more.
I myself have only 2 btc that i keep no matter what, everything else i sell, since i cant gamble with big sums, i just dont have the patience and nerves to do so.

A year ago the poll may have looked something like this:

1. < 1
2. 1 - 10
3. 11 - 50
4. 51 - 100
6. > 100

I've been on this stuff for only 2 months now and so far I manage to get 0.3btc, most of which were spent to my school funds and some personal stuff. It's very interesting to see that the wealth distribution among the bitcointalk members vary greatly than what I expect it to be. xD

Smart investors would cash out and reduce the holding while the time is still good. Dump one will increase the position when time is good and only cash out when time is bad.
