I insist with BCH, this time I have the perception and analysis of another article, and another analysis, for now it is normal that all predict that the trend will be bearish, as shown, but BTC has not yet started its recovery, And if the market has shown us something, it is that the first coins to rise when BTC rises is ETH and the first coins from CMC, but at a speculative level I think that BCH will give its good bullish surprise:

Quote
The decrease was sharp, and a low of $378 was reached seven days later.

The low and ensuing bounce validated the $450 horizontal area as support. Previously, BCH had accumulated below this level for 581 days.

Similarly to ADA, technical indicators are bearish. However, the bullish structure remains intact as long as BCH is trading above this horizontal level.

I think it's just a matter of waiting, I know that when BTC reaches at least $ 42k BCH it will start to shine.

Lol risk free and alts don't go together bud.  Bitcoin is about as risk free as it gets and that is still volatile in terms of financial instruments.  If you are looking for risk crypto isn't for you.  If this was some sort of shill for those alts ypu named it was a terrible shill.

When it comes to correlation in terms of price movement then there are indeed instances on where coins doesnt really always follow bitcoin trend and this is why we do really have that altcoin season
where most alts specially top ranks are really in greens or gains while bitcoin is just moving sideways or doesnt really make much movement but most of the time when it comes to trends
then Bitcoin would always be the main basis of this one because if we do observe on how the market behaves when bitcoin is on deep reds then most of the time altcoins get
dragged down along with its price trend so it would really be on random basis because market is way too unpredictable.
Yes, it's a thing that other investors must know. If they think that it's always correlated, no it isn't. But there are more of those time that bitcoin is also doing the same as the alts do and vice versa.
And as the usual, bitcoin is the market predictor and if it goes sideways, it is likely that the alts will do the same do. Although there really are times that most of alts don't.

At the moment BTC may be recovering, but it is not ruled out that it can continue to decline, in the short term the recovery is excellent, however BCH seems to me that it looks good to rise despite, in this analysis it shows:

Quote
This is an important support and if the price rebounds off it, the pair may consolidate between $370 and $538.11 for a few days. Conversely, a break below $370 could start a decline to the next support at $300.

At the moment anything can happen in the market, if BTC increases not only BCH, but also ETH, LTC, and the main currencies in the market will also rise in price without a doubt.

Altcoins will never be strong as Bitcoin soars amazingly from previous bull market. It will only be in accordance with highest market pairing, so it will only follow based in how the market trend goes. Sometimes it will have a strong hype but only at temporary situation and eventually crash so fast when bear market comes. It's always certain to invest with bitcoin after getting your profit from altcoins.

That is the reason why investing in altcoins is much riskier than Bitcoin. Because as you explained, altcoins are very dependent on the movement of
Bitcoin, other than that if the pump rarely lasts long. So it is necessary to immediately sell the altcoins that we have if we really get a profit,
holding altcoins for too long is not a good thing to do. Still, investing in Bitcoin is more recommended.

When bitcoin rises,  altcoin will dump as well.
It's not always the case. The opposite also happens sometimes and we cannot know what shall be the next move whenever bitcoin goes up or goes down.
The pattern is unpredictable because it's always been like that. Bitcoin is up, alts are up and sometimes they're not correlated and the pumps for alts sometimes don't go with bitcoin.
Yeah, that's been the case for a long time. in fact, I feel that almost 100% of all altcoins will go down in the event of a dump on bitcoin. however, not all altcoins will be up when the bitcoin price goes up. however, it depends on the individual of each project. this proves that bitcoin is really very influential on the price of altcoins.
If you say 100% you've got to include almost every altcoin that you see in the market. But there really are times that they don't go accordingly as bitcoin dumps.
They have sometimes pumping scenes too that are opposite to what bitcoin happens. As I'm saying, it's sometimes not that case and there are moments that really are like this.

But Bitcoin is still crypto and still what most of the world recognizes. If BTC does well, it's only good news for alts. And the converse is true as well.
Yes, bitcoin is like the starter of the market. If it's doing well, then the other cryptos will also end up having the same good day. We've seen it many times that whenever bitcoin is in bull run.
Then, it's making the same as the altcoins too to. Their season is coming after bitcoin's bull run and usually they're also going with bitcoin's season altogether.
[/quote]

Time and again indeed. I myself follow Litecoin and Monero markets, only because I have them, and as much as we do see them breakout on their own at times (XMR especially) we can't deny that if BTC does well, everyone else does too. There's simply no denying every cycle of bull and bear and trace that against alts? Same lines MORE or LESS.

We saw those times that some altcoins didn't really care whenever bitcoin goes up or go down. They have their own market share but sometimes the market sentiment, they're not going with it.
Unpredictable markets for both bitcoin and altcoins and this what really happens. But no matter what the share that the two have, it always ending up with your portfolio having bitcoin which is always the best type of portfolio to include with.

Only for short/temporary bursts, especially in extreme bull or extreme bear conditions. Monero always tried to have its own way, for example, and this is a sign of it being its own niche utility (for private transactions) and ETH the same for smart contract and dapp utility (although this is all defi credit now we have to admit).

But Bitcoin is still crypto and still what most of the world recognizes. If BTC does well, it's only good news for alts. And the converse is true as well.

There are instances though that some alts could withstand the test of the market condition despite of being red on most of those coins including Bitcoin.
We have seen that there is some shift when it comes to dominance but these situations is rarely to happen though.

These would be the altcoins with established ground use and community,,, that can continue not only to exist but also to function with their utility without relying on market factors. I would say even DOGEcoin achieved this before Elon's takeover and subsequent hype but among all the defi coins today, maybe one or two only are close to achieving this.

And all of this happens regardless of dominance numbers of BTC.

Bitcoin is the king and altcoins are usually more volatile than bitcoins.
Agree, the behavior of the market depends on value whether it goes up or down altcoins will always follow because they are correlated, though there are some coin are not following the market trend but it gradually decreasing in time.

Yes mate there are also some altcoins that didn't follow on the market dropped of bitcoin on time but gradually it decreases its market demand too and it seems that these altcoins were really affected whenever the market price of bitcoin made a slide down. But there are also some other altcoins that doesn't much affected by the market dropped of bitcoin , there are also some independent altcoin the even the market is sliding down it really not affected that much, some altcoins were stable in the prices some also are not. But this is only shows that Bitcoin and altcoins both have the unpredictable market, some are correlated with bitcoin but there are also other altcoin that is not.
although there are some altcoins that are not affected by bitcoin's decline, but most altcoins seem to be experiencing a decline like bitcoin. we know that in cryptocurrencies, if you still have trust, investors will not leave it, and that's where altcoins can survive, especially for altcoins that have real functions.

Sad to say but that is true if bitcoin fall almost all altcoins are affected they also down and there are only few altcoins that can still rise even if bitcoin down. Number one affected is the ethereum it will always depend on bitcoin price from the start and till now it is still affected same with other top altcoins many people witness this on year 2018.

Bitcoin is the pace setting cryptocurrency.  When bitcoin is down,  altcoin overreact and the dump that follow altcoin is in multiple times lower.  When bitcoin rises,  altcoin will dump as well.  Why,  because people  will be selling altcoin at any price so they could ride bitcoin movement.
In this scenario, altcoins are no longer much dependent on bitcoin because now that bitcoin is in a dump price, some potential altcoins are still surging. But i don't know if they can sustain at their high price because eventually they will still bound to fall down after couple of days. Red days will always come so we can expect that most of the coins are definitely bound to dump.

However, seeing most of the coins are in bloodbath so we can take advantage of this season to add more potential and cheap coins to our portfolio. The more coins we bought, the bigger the profits will be waiting for us.
