It really depends on what you think the real price of bitcoin is.

Firing it up
They do as they already have their needs which is able to travel around the world few times.

These people know they can earn profit regardless the good and the bad, Like me.

While people say bad price chart, 200 USD. Unless they ask the right question, What is my concealed price per btc? Here is the question.

For these fat felines, they can say It's just a cent for one BTC...

Yes, I have seen a dramatic increase in my "faucet" income, even from the few referrals I have.

Most of the sites give a 50% referral income per hour, so if the payout rate increase, your income from your referrals will also increase.

If managed correctly and if the price of BTC is low enough, you might even make a decent income from having a "active" referral network.

People who knows about the link between payouts and BTC price, will also use faucets more, when the price is low and the payouts high.  Wink

Back in 2010 i wish i would have done faucets instead of wasting time playing Evony online everyday...What an egghead

Faucets might only pay out dust now, but dust can lead to sand, and sand leads to a beach.

I see your point. I really wish I found out about bitcoin sooner. Or at least before the 2013 spike. I just found out about in Feb 2014.

In terms of the avg person, your still aware of something ahead of the masses.
I personally dont worry about the price of BTC at all. I just try to use it more often each month than i did the month before.

Sharing what you know about blockchain technology and the incredible uses with friends and family is the key.
Faucets are a nice way to gradually expose people with little or no knowledge of crypto to many of its features.

It's kind of funny that we go through these conversations all the time. I remember when faucets gave out entire bitcoins and people cried about how they were worthless and you're wasting your time. And then they gave out half bitcoins and people complained about them being a waste of time. Then down to 0.1 BTC and the same thing. Then 0.05 and the same thing. We've gone through this same cycle at least 15x as the price of bitcoins has risen, each time people crying about how it's a waste. Protip: if you had gotten in on faucets in the beginning, you could have racked up hundreds of them in under an hour of actual work. Definitely seems like a waste to me!

Anyways, if anyone wants to hit up faucets faster and easier, use this rotator, which supports more than just BTC and is actively expanded faucet-wise as requests come in.
yea, i remember those days, i was like this pays dogshit. right now, fuk myself for not playing them . im playing one of them right now just in case. and i also bought some coins   recently.  im doing both . fuk that im not taking any chances of any future  regrets.

I feel you. I first heard about BTC in 2009 and avoided it as I thought "mining" was either going to be some super-technical event or it was just a virus described as something bigger. That's my big regret: not looking into it and instead just writing it off as being yet another scam/virus.

ad the price in 2009 damn good and maybe stabil.
same like you in 2009 i dont know about bitcoin, im just playing game online everyday

BTC faucet payouts get better as the price per BTC in USD goes down.

Do you think the BTC price (per USD) will go up in the future? If so, you should spend some time back on the faucets. They raise the amount of BTC paid out with each roll as the price per USD falls. So while you're not earning any more USD equivalent per roll you ARE earning more BTC per roll.

The BTC payout per roll at free bitco.in has doubled since June (as the USD price per BTC has been cut in half).

Check it out for yourself.

I still do not get the point of using bitcoin faucet! They arnt worth the time! Even if the payouts have doubled, they still payout dust. If they start giving out 20x of what's they give today, then i will surely like to spend time on faucets, but offcourse it isn't going to happen(untill bitcoin hits $20).
Faucets are only useful for newcomers in crypto world cause they give them a sense about what bitcoin is.

As a previous  owner of 3 faucets, I don't think faucets will higher their payouts at all knowing that bitcoin still has potential to jump up to higher rates.

i don't think all faucets changes their rewards according to current BTC/USD price
we can find only few faucets with such features
other are paying a fixed amount of satoshi to their users no matter if price drops
