As suggested it's good to move towards altcoins to experience the gambling, if you consider bitcoin to be too expensive for gambling. Lots and lots of gambling websites have started to accept altcoins into gambling activities. One such reputed gambling website is betcoin.ag, where you could get access to all gambling from dice to sports betting with altcoin acceptance and easy interface.
There is no difference using altcoins it is like your just converting your bitcoin or trading your bitcoin into altcoin and use that tho. Many of gambling website are preferred to accept alternative coins for gambling activities but not all for me much more better if i use bitcoin for the better and hassle free when im selling altcoins. Converting altcoins to bitcoin will cost you fee too.
nowadays people worry about how the price of bitcoin so high but i think it was not a real issue , there is a smaller denominations of bitcoin called milibitcoin, satoshi etc , people could simply use it to make it fit to your fiat pocket .

or you can take advantage when hold a lot of bitcoin to not adjusting it to fiat, people should not worry.

People who use directbet for gambling may suffer from the high transactioon fee if they want to use bitcoin, but they can use equivalent amount of dogecoin to avoid the transaction fee, as well as betting with smaller sizes.

This is the trick what other gamblers are doing, they are converting it first to an alt coin when they earned well on a gambling site. And after converting it with the alt coin that only charges small fee.
That's the start for them to withdraw their funds. Because to all of us, every satoshi counts from now on.

The altcoin right now is rising as well which is a good sign however the transaction fees is still less than using bitcoin directly. Atleast with altcoin it should be still more profitable then just using bitcoin. I wouldnt really gamble in a site like directbet right now, it is better to gamble in a deposit style site

I don't know what's happening with alt coins, most of them that has the potential are pumping.
They are getting with the trend of bitcoin's pump. So there's a lot of alternative when you want to avoid bitcoin's fee and other adjustments with it.
Just like the new feature on FJ you can already make use of other altcoin on playing on the site. Its now available to make use of ETH and XMR which is an alternative instead of using bitcoin. When we do speak about confirmation times i can say usingg alts would be the best one to use because we do know gambling it does need fast confirmations since you do actively deposit and withdraw anytime.

Almost all good gambling sites are accepting alt coins. Because if they are not going to adopt to the market and demand of their gamblers and will only focus with bitcoins for sure those gamblers will not stay to them. But if there's a variety of coins to those for, it will be a good chance for those gamblers to try alt coins.

Bitcoin will be expensive when the price is very high.they will sell their bitcoin in a high price.
They can also do it as a business that bitcoin is for beeding.
It is now expensive and it is just the start because there will be the time that bitcoin is going to be possible fluctuating up to higher price. And with gambling, the good about it is that your satoshi's are now worth to gamble so in your perspective it's like a centavo to gamble so there's no problem when the price is increasing.

I stand with Ukraine.
What other cryptocurrency are you using and which casino are you playing at? BTC is getting to expensive to be depositing and playing in just BTC.

Actually I can't see why do you think so. You can deposit 100k satoshis, which is a bit more than $2, and play with it, betting say 200 or 50 sats at a time. Switching to another cryptocurrency might give you a feeling that you took precautions in order to lose less to gambling, while in fact you are risking the dollar equivalent of what you have deposited regardless of type of currency.

But sometimes some people have that feeling that they are betting very small amount of bitcoins even though their bets are earlier same dollar value. So they may prefer to use other lower price altcoins and it is all personal satisfaction only. But they may be using the same amount of dollars for that gambling session. I mostly gambling in bitcoins and only sometimes play with dogecoin and ETH.

That's right, I haven't thought of that. Indeed it might be deceptive - gambling with satoshis these days. I remember when 1k sats was equivalent to $0.002 and now it's more than $0.02. So when hunting on 9900x you were losing $2 with 1k bets now it's $23, big difference.

Well if bitcoin be considered getting too expensive to gamble, the altcoins are good choice to betting, in my experience ethereum is good choice to play dice gambling, there are amout of betting on vdice and that is not expensive.
So it is time to change way of betting the coin, today is time to gamble based on blockchain network.

Actually, BTC is not expensive to gamble, It just depends on the amount that you are going to risk on gambling, Because even though the price of BTC increases while you still risk the same amount in fiat, Then there is no difference with that besides the volume of BTC you are holding.
If the price of BTC increase and a casino have a minimum limit which a person is using and if with the rise in price the casino do not decrease its minimum limit then that person will go up to increase his minimum bet as in fiat he will pay higher than before.

IN this case I will suggest the casinos to adjust the price according to the price of bitcoin movement.

For me the worse part is when you gamble with all bitcoins and lose them, after few days you see the bitcoin price increasing a lot. In this case, you lost all the bitcoins when it was costing a cheaper price.
And when the price is nice you don't have any more bitcoin to gamble with. It's a part of the game, but a waste of bitcoins anyway...

Expensive in the sense the Transaction fees is high and confirmation delay is making more difficult to bet with bitcoins , and their are many other coins are coming with good gambling sites to bet, right now Vdice is going good to bet with ETH, and they are adding Slots also. So now we can bet with other good altcoin also.

Edgeless are better than Vdice, Even if they add slots, There are more great features on Edgeless than Vdice, Soon, Edgless price will be greater than Vslice once they release all their gambling games. I'm once an investor of Vslice but I'm too bored to play dice and their site is not simple to use.  Tongue

i think i still be using bitcoin, doge to playing gambling than using another coins including vdice because i don't know why, i am in love to use bitcoin and doge so i will stick with this two coins. for using btc, i think we can spend a little amount of our btc because the price of btc now is really expensive and i think for gamblers that only have small btc don't want to loss big amount of btc in gambling games. so we should make a limit for playing gambling and only us that can do this.

I think the main problem is arising for guys who bet small and they have to now pay a big transaction fees. Anyone who is facing such issues can and should use xapo service as they provide fees from their side and I am gambling like that only.

I was using directbet's casino wallet too but since they have closed its risky keeping money there now and hence the only one left for me is xapo which needs proofs though but seems safe.

The increased price has made gambling a more risky earning source. Even a small loss will make the loss big if the value is converted in terms of fiat. Now as an alternative, users have started using altcoins that are accepted into gambling.
NO!
It hasn't made it more risky, because the more you wager the more you can win, so if you play with the same number of coins, you can lose more, but also win more.
Also, if you're measuring the value with fiat, adjust the bets to remain proportional. To me it's a no brainer.

The major difference i can feel is that with the absence of directbet it is really difficult to say that transaction charges are taking a hit because rest of the sites accepts bitcoin and the withdrawals are free without any charges,so it is your choice whether to gamble with bitcoin or not because the price of bitcoin will keep on increasing in the future.

It doesnt matter actually unless until you decided to convert it to fiat. If you intend to keep it in form of btc then that wont make any difference at all. Some people do keep few amount of bitcoin to keep on gambling with no intention of converting it back, it is a form of investment as well and the price wont really affect them

I don't think it's a big fund to invest on gambling, Now, Most of the sites sets mBTC for a each game. This is pretty than that. Insase if have option to use a litcoin or dodge or any other altcoin also you need to put the same equals with the fiat.
I have played in Bitkong recently, it seems so addictive and you will be easily in the each dice clicks.
