If the deposited amount isn't that much, a $1 fee is too much. But when it comes to fees, I'm not really looking to it as long as the deposited amount is also high.

As an alternative, you can convert it first to litecoin, dogecoin or Ethereum so you can save yourself on fees.

Casinos have been open to alt coin for a while now because of the unfair pressure that transaction fees added and would have impeded their business otherwise. Adjusting fees to account for BTC price would be a big deal when it can double in value or more, anything rigid is going to accumulate into discouraging any potential business.

One site I used with deposits have never adjusted their withdrawal fee, not from the days BTC was 2 or 3 digits. So if I want my money back they are demanding I pay them 0.1 BTC and they find that behaviour reasonable, obviously its extortion and stubbornness in their own favour.

Luckily I dont have much there but any inclination for a company not to stay upto date with the price would be seen that way and customers would become extremely wary. Otherwise BTC rising is not a problem by itself, bets scale thats all. The positive flip side to that is many bets allow such tiny amounts as BTC has been much higher previously, I like that as I can bet small while learning

not really . alts are more stable than bitcoins . some gamblers think that alts are better because alts are cheap ( cheap tx fees , cheap price ) alts are also more faster when it comes to withdrawal or deposits compare to bitcoin .

btc's high price is the reason on why some gambler thinks that it is expensive to use for gambling . this why gambling sites are now starting to accept altcoins because alts can be a good alternative if btc price pumps .

Casinos are adjusting it if the price of every coin increased, though there are some minimum bet but I think its value are also changing and also the rewards. Bitcoin is expensive unil now, but its your choice on what coin to be use, i still prefer bitoin because its easy to get btc.

Correct,because of the increasing price of bitcoin its really a bad choice to use it in gambling. Instead the best option is using altcoins instead. Its better to keep bitcoins than to waste it on gambling because its more profitable than other coins.

For long term holds then its wise to save up your bitcoin rather than on wasting it on playing gambling and come to think off that isnt wise to make bitcoin deposit hence the price of fees isnt that low as we see as of now which means we will really be forced to used up some alts on playing and luckily most of gambling sites now are offering such options.

who told you to use saving money to gamble? many people recommend gambling using leftover money or unused money, so you don't mind if your money is spent in gambling, and moreover there are other options for gambling, using altcoins that are much cheaper?

Volatility is not a problem here but volatility is the one that helps the price of bitcoin to become expensive . when you buy a bitcoin and then you deposit it on a gambling site , there is a chance that your bitcoin could rise or fall and that is the same as when you hodl your bitcoins for months . gambling with bitcoin is expensive indeed but your profits are also higher though your losses will also get bigger .

Bitcoin price doesnt even matter, thats not how any economy works. Success should not mean a discouragement to use this now valuable asset, thats so wrong. Im certain the people who change the Bitcoin protocol will fix fees eventually, because I doubt these people are stupid enough to believe the world contains a majority who will accept 30 dollars just to transmit a bit of value.

Satoshi put in alot of fail safes in his crypto work and one is open source competition. They will not be able to stop the blockchain by over charging for fees because now its too successful, that is such nonsense. Im confident efficiency is the centre of every true sucess story and BTC will never be too expensive because they will allow the smallest amounts to transmit safely without great cost. It will happen, too many people want it that way and are able to make it so.

This is a caterpillar and butterfly situation, it will develop even if its an ugly looking git of a show right now

Bitcoin is gaining ground once more almost touching $17K so its really hard to gamble when the price is going up. We really love to gamble, but if the price keeps going up, sometimes to better to hold than you gamble all your bitcoin and hope that you will win, otherwise all your bitcoin could be gone in an instant. Although I still gamble online, I have to limit myself, that's why I would just go to a landbased casino and just play it there. At least I can only bring amounts that I can afford to lose.

Bitcoin is not expensive because of its high price value, websites allow as low as 0.001 to gamble, you don't always need to gamble thousands of dollars worth Bitcoin. Bitcoin gambling is expensive because of high transaction fees.
Even the regular fees now varies from $30-40 which is the amount most of casual gamblers start with. I believe if the Bitcoin-exclusive websites want to survive then they should start depositing alt coins with low fees too.

how it could be a bad choice when you won 0.1 bitcoin at $10,000 rates but then in the next few days it increased to $20,000 , it feels like you gamble twice , yes it has a lot more advantage when you gamble use bitcoin with its volatility.

think again about that and you will consider it as a double winning also an investment.

I think people are not ready to lose a big amount of bitcoin than a big amount other coins and this is why they decide to leave the games and move to other games with another coin. bitcoin is getting too expensive for the gambles and I think we still have another coin to place bets. usually, I used dogecoin to place a bet because of this coin still cheap and the time to send to other wallet doesn't take too long and I think I am fine if I only lose 1k doge rather than 0.001 btc right now.

if you mean about the minimal bet amount then i will agree it is too expensive place a bet like 0.01 or maybe 0.001 for some people , there several casinos adjusted their minimum betting amount and for some reasons some of them decide to stay with the old minimum bet amount.

It is the same when we play with other altcoin as well but if you think that it is expensive then you could just use a very small amount to play. Most site allow you to gamble as low as 100 satoshi, that is less than $1 so it should be fine. The main thing is that when you want to withdraw from the site, the transaction fees is quite high if you use bitcoin

I know of other casinos then what I am use to using allowing you to gamble with doge and litecoin but didn't know about dash.
Which ones are allowing you to use dash instead of the above and bitcoin?
