Is it better to get BTC via mining or buying now?

It was no longer profitable early this year for mining. However, with the recent price surge, does mining becomes profitable now?

If yes, any suggestion? There are quite many cloud miner in the market.

Thanks.

beware because some cloud mining is a scam, mining Bitcoin and buying Bitcoin has the same goal (the goal is to get Bitcoin), I think it's better to buy Bitcoin because  mining Bitcoin requires ASIC, knowledge, and mining operation costs

I would say to just buy and stop mining, it's not worth the time and effort unless you have super cheap electricity and you live in a place where cooling is not that much needed. I think that's the best place to mine and would be best to profit from mining, if not buying and just waiting for the price to grow is the best idea.

I would recommend buying bitcoins since going for mining would require you a big investment to boost your hashpower. In addition, noawadays mining is becoming more difficult as more individuals pursue mining.

Now I'd rather to buy bitcoins, because investments in hardware would be around the same in price, but it will take a lot of time for mining. Isn't it faster and easier just to buy bitcoins?

I think for me buying has more advantage than mining why? First of all we know that the bitcoins price keeps increasing and increasing feom time to time right? And we need to have bitcoin as much as possible and buying for me is the best way in mining you need to buy equipments, pay bills and also you need to recover your investment and start to make some profit and it will really took some time before you make profit right? Unlike buying after buying bitcoin you're just gonna need to wait till the price goes up and you can instantly recover what you invest and ofcourse with extra profit.

If you’re happy with buying at the current exchange rate then go for it and buy straight out.
If you want to try and risk getting a better reward for your money than go ahead and spend what you would have spent on buying on mining instead.
You could end up being better off if mining difficulty and the exchange rate decreases (especially if you find a good mining contract/rig). However the odds can also equally go against you so the decision is yours to make.

First rule of mining:  Stay away from could mining.

Now, let's talk about three things
budget, electricity rate, location.

If you plan to start investing 100$ in mining , just quit, buy some btc and sleep easy at night.
Also if your electricity is above 15 cents, look somewhere else. It might still be profitable right now but in a matter of months people with 2, 4 cents will buy enough miners to make you quit.
And for the third, if you live in a one bedroom apartment, having a miner in the other corner of your bedroom is a sure qay to get no sleep.

I read some on social media said that it's profitable to mine now as the difficulty gets lower but I don't believe with it.

It still is, the drop is because of the swings between bcc and btc

I won't go with bitcoin mining anymore, the hardware is too expensive for me and I'll be having bad time to get my ROI too since electricity here is too expensive too. And that's why it's better to buy bitcoin rather than mining it and many are saying it.

Don't go with cloud mining, you're in risk and danger if you'll choose that investment better to buy.

In my opinion, I personally think that buying is better than mining. Usually, those big organizations with huge mining laboratories would consider mining as profitable since they earn certain rewards once they manage to mine certain bitcoin blocks. However, for us ordinary investors, I think its better if we stick to buying since we cannot compete with all those organizations, we will eventually make profit from buying.

Bitcoin mining and buying is both useful and helpful. I would prefer buying than mining sir because it does not require a lot of your time and money because in mining you need to focus your time most likely every time you need to stay tuned and be active on the internet while in buying you just to monitor the price you said it yourself the price surge if that would be case then isn't the appropriate time to buy bitcoin because you never know the price could surge again .

There are so many miners already that are even competing with the little amount that can be mined based on the difficulty that would be witnessed in a gradual manner. And these set of people with large mining farms would probably get what an individual will get in 10 years maybe six months. Why would I as an individual would want to compete with such entity.

The point is everybody cannot feature in every areas of bitcoin while some will mine, others will do better at buying and that is exactly the point why buying is just the best now rather than bothering yourself about the latest graphics card or configurations and the likes. Even if mining is more profitable, I would stick to buying and holding.

We will also use money for mining and it takes a lot of time to gain profit because we also need to get the capital what we use for it. I guess it is better and profitable buying bitcoins.

Mining is not profitable if you have only have a small amount of rigs that you can use in mining. You will need to find a cheap electricity to use or free (solar power). It is better to buy bitcoin nowadays because of the continues increase of value. Do not trust cloud mining because they will just run your money in the long run.

Mining in most cases is still profitable if you invest with the latest hardware that is available in the market but it needs time to get back your investment and when you compare the current situation that is happening in the price of Bitcoin I think buying now is much more profitable if you have a big money to invest with. No one knows what will happen next though so in able to get an informative ideas you must analyze the market behavior and the difficulty level of mining so you can decide which one is the best.

Both.. buy the coins you are not able to mine, mine the coins you can with the miner you have. Both can bring you good profit.

That will actually depend. For mining to be more profitable you have to invest big before you can start. Say an Antminer s9 is not that cheap and if you get the cheaper miner then it will not be profitable. Then you have to take into consideration the electricity cost, also the maintenance cost. If you have a lot of money and you think that mining will make you more profit then that is good. If not just stick with buying and selling. In my opinion as long as you have the same outcome then it is good. The goal is to make profit. So either way will do.

It is better to buy. It takes longer time for your investment to return if you go on mining. Bitcoin's price today is increasing fast so if you will buy today, your profit will start to increase as the price of bitcoin increases. Mining bitcoin is also inefficient today, it is just better to buy and buy bitcoin and hold it.

I think that it is better to do both because that is like having two assets from buying a mining rig for bitcoin that will give you passive income and also bitcoin that will give you an asset that can give your significant profits because of the price pumps and also the other opportunity that you can grab to earn more.
