Where do you get your news about BTC? I am looking for a relevant and credible source of news, e.g. like cointelegraph.com (which I favor), but would like to have other opinions.

The best freshest news comes from reddit, twitter, discord, telegram, and slack. Join the groups of official coins. You'll get an official feed.

There's actually a lot of sources where you can get the recent bitcoin news like facebook or reddit. I only use this two because there are a lot of people using bitcoin and posting news link about cryptocurrency on social media. Try to join groups to get updated and to get the latest news about cryptocurrency.

I personally prefer to follow the news in a single site that is local to the country. And I get a lot of information from the BCT forum.  Grin

I personally look to get my information from a number of different sources, compare and research before accepting something to be a hard truth. Especially in the world of the crypto market.  Smiley

When we rely on news on the web, it is better to look for more than a few sites. I personally do not rely on a particular site, but I search for at least four of them to take stock of the news.

Very much this.  You may miss an important story if you rely on a single source and they don't happen to report on it.  If there are vested interests at play, solely trusting a single source could potentially provide a skewed or biased opinion of the story and you could end up with incorrect information.  It's also advisable to compare the differences between the dedicated crypto media sites and the mainstream ones, so you can understand the different perspectives and not fall victim to "echo chambers".  Read as much as possible and then form your own conclusions.  Use the Press subforum here to see what other people have found, or even just type "bitcoin news" into your preferred search engine and see what's hitting the headlines around the world.

I am subscribed to some newsletters but if I do have time I only browse the newsfeeds from my Blockfolio app to check what's causing those dips or those pump in price. If I am not satisfied with the answers I check some posts here in the forum or check Google for more detailed reports.

Good news in free form will never be! I personally use insider information. I have several sources from where I get the information! Now a huge flow of information and it's hard to handle it! I advise you to look for people who sell good information on this forum!

For the news you have so many options I don't want to list them here, the best is this forum it is like Reuters, you can also get some clues before the news appear sometimes if you follow in detail. Steemit is in my top 3, it is very precise I like it.

Try to use the CMC - coinmarketcap.com

By searching bitcoin, you can check the social media link, reddit, website & also the market history in one place. Also not only bitcoin, you can also see the news from other crypto currencies.

Well, probably the most news worthy is reddit, but you can google search and find numerous amounts of btc news sites.
Coindesk is another good one but it all depends on what exactly you're looking for.

Coindesk is shit. It's one of the outlets that is best known for acting on random tips and writing articles without checking if the news are real. The content is not important as long as they are first to post it. Quantity over quality. Also, there's nobody to proofread their texts which makes their sentences clumsy and full of mistakes at times. Those get pointed out in the comments and guess what the Coindesk's response is. Yes, they disable the comments. Grin

I will suggest CCN.LA, their news is all about crypto and they are always updated and have the latest news about crypto currency, they notify me the important news through email and i don't have to visit their site. But you can also look through google.

What I do is follow many news sources and people with huge following and influence on twitter. Since many of these post like every time a new story comes out on their twitter feed, whenever I login to my twitter I am covered with many news. However you should be always be careful on who you really follow there as there are many accounts with fake news and shilling regarding some ICOs. But basically you can go and follow many official and trusted news sources such as: coindesk, bitcoinmagazine, coinwire, braveBewCoin, coinReport, newsBTC, coinTelegraph, theMerkle and many many more.

To be honest reddit might not be the best place since you have many people who are making fun of situation and who shill their coins.
