Well it makes sense as BTC had reached its absolute peak post MtGox crash. Chinese centralised BTC will never see $1200 again.

I just checked the top few altcoins in yobit (by trading volume last 24h) and the exchange rate has been increased for 9%-19% which is the right time to sell these altcoins.

Btc dropping is just profit taking. It is not strange to see such volatility in the price of bitcoin. I remembered during the early years of bitcoin, the price went down by a lot. People were saying that bitcoin was 'dead'. I don't see any coin replacing bitcoin at the moment so it will continue going up.
