I vote above 500. It will only be brief though and the come back to settle around where it is now.

I'm thinking exactly the same thing, most likely it will be stable at the 500 dollar at the end of this year with all these events that are upcoming.
There is even a chance it will even hit the 500 dollar next month but it will of course not be stable next month so that is why I said at the end of this year.

i think a lot people here will be very disappointed when the price stays around $500 at the end of the year. it's mainly due to them having way too high expectations from the block halving. they think the price might even touch $1000 before the end of the year. they only don't realize what it takes to get the price to $1000. there will me massive amounts of sell orders popping up at every round price level as $500-$600-$700 and so on. it's not that easy as some may think.

I think the price of bitcoin in 2016 could reach $500 at least. because the current prices are not too far to reach $500, much less we will pass some important things in 2016.

We can reach to $1k by the end of the year, as we are seeing growth in user adoption and also halving is  on the way so we can expect this price by the end of the year.

if you really expect the price to reach $1000 this year, then you should buy plenty of coins right now and sell when the price reaches $1000 by the end of the year.

1k is far from reality my friend, even with the halving it wont reach 1k it will just play around 500-600 nothing more than that.

I hope for it to be around $500. It has not reached this high in quiet a while.
Many people hope for this to happen so they can sell their Bitcoins.

seeling at 500 is a bit unfortunate, we are not that far off from 500, so i would wait more above 500 before thinking about selling, in case we went there

remember that when we broke the 300 wall we went to 500, so again if we broke the 500 wall we can probably touch something much higher

It is hard to know for what the price will be this year, but I think that it wont rise that much and that the price keep stable this year.
To make some profit with Bitcoin you should wait a really long time on this moment because the value is not even rising.
So it is good to have some patience and we all think that the price will rise after maybe some 2 years. But we have to see.

I think it will be around 500-600 after the halving and will just play its price around that margin, the halving will have an effect on the price.

We will see that price by mid this year all through out the end of the year,i really wouldnt like to reach it 1k for it might plummet hard downward.

Even if it does stay around $500-$600 for this entire year, then it's a good price for most of us. And yes, if we do reach $1000 for whatever reason this year, then the price will get dumped down again. Such a price is simply not sustainable at this point.

I voted "above $500" for several reasons, primarily natural growth, the inevitable resolution of the block size conflict, and of course the mining reward halving.
_____

I think you should have combined the last 2 poll options. Anyone who thinks Bitcoin will die obviously doesn't have a clue.

So far the majority of voters think that it will go above 500. Very optimistic, maybe because of halving, but in fact it's hard to say how the price will be in the next few months. To my opinion nothing revolutionary will not happen.

It is hard to predict for what is going to happen with the value in 2016, you never know what will happen in the future and that is the problem.
But if you are looking now that the value you can see that the value is now rising very slowly and that can be good.
The most people have to wait a long time to get some a lot of profit.

in 2016 mostly because there is a hyped event called halving on the way i am expecting the price to jump up and the chance of another big rally like the last time is high.

and for the price i am expecting anything above $700

The price will stay between $300 and 500, if there is nothing more than halving this year. To go further we need some fundamental development and for now I see none.

It is big difference when we talking about highest price we can expect, and real price that can
stay for a longer time this year. Personally i love this is great opportunity for earnings but this
 is not good for adaptation.
