Bitcoin could surpass $1000, but there are no guarantees of that and we have to see what value the miners put on Bitcoin first. if the miners were able to live off of $300/Bitcoin, they will likely value Bitcoin at somewhere like $600/Bitcoin, $400 minimum, $800/Bitcoin and so.

We'll see over $1000 after the next halving, basically a guarantee at this point, but for this one, I'm not so sure.

A big chance that bitcoin can really overcome that price but we dont really know if it will remain stable there and it will slowly goes down and make a lower stable price.

$1k price is surely possible at the time of halving but no one knows what will be the price after the halving, whether it will increase and decrease so that is a big confusion.

I voted 500-700 , i know it will go higher than that but what goes up must come down and i fully expect a price drop after the halving. As long as its in that range or higher id say we are good though, It will keep investers and miners happy Wink

Also this should really be in the speculation thread.
We have same thought, the price stabilize between $500-700 as I think the price increase is because of the hype we see in bitcoin community, once this is gone. Price will become stabilize to $500-700 because I believe it will decrease a bit on its current price considering most of users will dump a coin to profit.

800 is the safest point currently in my eyes, and anything above that is pure pump.
So, I am in with 800 bucks.

for short term it is hard to say because there can be two different paths ahead of bitcoin IMO
bitcoin can stay stable here for a short while and then rise a lot so it reaches $1000 and above so after halving even after dumps the price won't come down so much.

also bitcoin price can rise a little after this stable period to something like $800 and then after halving and because of dumps come down and let us accumulate more before it rises to $1000 and above.

For me in past 2 months the price would be $700-$1000 i am just relaying in price today and after block halving we will see fighting price increase and dumping.. because many people are satisfied with price increase and i know many people are waiting for block halving . so this is m speculation..

It should fall and remain around $600 (depending on the effects of the halving).

It is unknown what will happen as political ideas such as the "BREXIT" still need to be decided.

The block hlving will also happen in the next two months which will have either a good or bad effect on Bitcoin.

That could happen after the halving, but I don't think it will be at $600 for long honestly. The price will climb back up very slowly again after the halving, because the miners need to make a profit!

I think we should see $1k at the end of the year.

Bitcoin will reach $1000 I guess. From now $750 so i guess Last week of june it will break the $850-$900 and after bitcoin halving it will reach $1000 again this year. And expect more than that if it reach that high, maybe it will rise and rise after $1000. Weel its only my opinion, no hard feelings.

I voted > $1000 because it's gotta go past there to get to the moon and this year feels like a good one.

I go for $500-$700 as I believe the dump that will happen after the block halving will bring the price back to within that range. I think closer to the $500's than to the $700's.

$700-$1000. I'm not going to try & be some kind of shill & bull shit. I think it's sensible to expect the price to float around the $700-$1000 range for a good while now. I don't expect us to drop below $700 however.

There are two scenarios that are possible for me, but both have the peak in the 700-1000 range. For the moment I don't believe it will be higher, because I think sentiment is not so bullish than a week ago because of the DAO hack.

1) The peak of this rally is already in. If we see a double top at about 775-80 USD, then we may see an important dump and probably panic by small holders - as "double top" is one of the classic bearish signals.

2) Bullish speculators win the short-term game and pull the price over 800. Then we may see a new rally phase. But I don't think it will last very long. I expect a top at most in the 960-990 area because of the symbolic value of the 1000 USD mark.

>800$ till the halving, <500$ after the halving. There is no way btc would rise endlessly. There will be a dump era after the hype ends and it is coming closer with every day. I don't hold anything at the moment but 700+ is way more than i expected. I would have panic sold all of my coins if i had any right now.
