I hope so very much because we could get a new influx of investors and thus the prices for cryptocurrency would rise very much

We almost had it, the longest period of stability ever where the price sat at 6500 dollars for many moons. However, this hope was destroyed by greedy BCH creators, thanks Craig Wright and bitmain for ruining everything
The best way to overcome this situation is to not get involved with the trolls on social media and BCH shills. In time when prices fall buy more bitcoin that will support the levels of price and you will be able to stash up more for the bull runs in future. Thats how most traders take advantage of the FUD and do good to their stacks of coins.

Not until February ending before I start to doubt if we will ever see ETF getting approval but for now its still early ,January is looking good with a good start ,I'm sure 2019 will be different
I dont think anything is happening till spring or summer this year. Still there was a bit of green movement yesterday followed by a dump. There bears are looking good at this time even if the bulls are trying to move up.

Hey it's true that Bch civil war cost bitcoins, and other coins due to their greediness but now markets are slowly and steadily rebounding. I believe there's a good chance Bitcoins Etf will be cleared as three out of five members are bitcoins propents, and most notably their chairman had indicated it may be approved. It's pertinent to note that the hearing has been scheduled for 27th February 2019, and we may see it finally approved.

that's because, so far, the applicants haven't fit the financial archetype that the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is looking for.
anyone how can us to improve to get ETF? or crypto valueble is the technology not the coin are giving out..

Until now, the problem you mentioned seems to have not been resolved, so I think that the bitcoin ETF in January will not pass a large probability, which may be disappointing. But please don't worry, the Bitcoin ETF application is not limited. As long as someone continues to make such an application, it will one day pass, it is only a matter of time.

With out ETF bitcoin will survive and work out slowly ,years longer than expected but with ETF approval things might just speed up in process ,regulations will take place and more millions of new investors will rush in ,let's wait and see I'm sure ETF won't escape this time

i think it is possible to do that but it will not going right now, it need some time to make it happen, and i think we should wait, wait and wait for this action happen in the future
Rather than waiting for the ETF to pump up the price so you can dump, why not read over the bitcoin whitepaper and look into how far we have come into the crypto space as a retrospection? Fundamentals are often weak in majority of the newbies entering here and I have seen people make idiotic comments on how prices move. Better not wait for an ETF because when it gets rejected again there will be another huge dump and all newbies will go out crying "rekt" and selling at loss.

about this it is indeed difficult how to get it. what else I have not fully understood about etf ,.
Go read about what is an ETF and how the gold ETF affected the gold market. You should get an idea. Wink

ETF approval is a long term target for bitcoin. It will not have an effect on bitcoin price soon. I understand that people are trying to find something that may have a good effect on bitcoin price. But speculation or manipulation is not a good thing for having a healltier and more trustable crytocurrency market.

Hope is still exist, SEC doesn't prohibit bitcoin projects to applying ETF. But the problem is, the approval gonna take long time.
Just like now, SEC has postponed the approval of bitcoin ETF several times. Honestly i don't know it they gonna approve or not.

Whether the SEC accepts the ETF for Bitcoin, knows no one, only the SEC. Although sometimes I have the impression that even they don't know what's going on. And if you do not know what's going on, it's definitely about the money.
In my opinion it's the US government's game, to earn more time to regulate their law before Bitcoin fever will hit the Wall Street.

Yes, ETF approval has not been approved by the SEC so prices still haven't increased at this time, if only the ETF was approved by the SEC I think that would be good news for Bitcoin, so there would be many investors to buy BItcoin, because BItcoin has been officially approved.
You guys need to understand that just an ETF being declared would not mean immediately a river of fiat money is going into flood into bitcoin. Thats not how things work in this world. There will be continuous speculation regarding whether to invest or not and then after probably a year or so investors would start putting in money even then with small amounts.

The good thing is that the growth with the ETF would be pretty much sustained and organic not manipulated like the Tether pump last year.

I follow very good lawyer on Twitter
Chances that ETF will be approved are very little
The reason of rejection will always the same
Bitcoin trading is to much manipulated on unlicensed exchanges
ETF will be approved one day but it looks like not that time

When will the SEC end this persecution of us? This ETF thing is getting pretty good. They don't approve the ETF. We must not expect such things.

I think there is still chance for applying ETF, but it still need time for SEC to decide it.
If cryptocurrency world keep developing, approval of ETF by SEC is not impossible to happening in the future.
Crypto is still in early age, need time to improving.

I don't understand why people hoping for crypto ETF?? What's the utility of it?? Do you all think that ETF will infuse more liquidity into the market and shoot the price higher?? Re think after knowing the facts. Lets look at the facts,

1. Total 9 ETFs were proposed.
2. Only 1 ETF (winklevoss) is physical.
3. Rest 8 ETFs are synthetic

Synthetic ETFs are not going to buy physical bitcoins from the market. They are mainly based on CME group's future contracts. Only 1 ETF proposed by Winklevoss, is physical ETF where physical assets will be purchased and taken out of circulation.

Looking at these facts, do you think the market will sustain such hype in long run? ETF should be considered as an optional addition to cryptospace, not an integral one!

It is really smart point of view. I guess everybody wants hype and try to find signs of it in nonsense facts.
