Would it be acceptable to give people a negative balance if they didn't have enough funds to return?
I can't withhold from next payout, I'd have to freeze the entire account for a week to do so. Simply hold the divs for now people, if you are a decent people.

FWIW, I manually reinvest dividends from both ASICMINER-PT and TAT.ASICMINER into TAT.ASICMINER, so, yeah... have this money staring at me needing to be returned, can't reinvest it, and would like to get it back to you.
Please just hold the extra coins for now. I need to wait on Burnside to see how he wants to fix this. I have copied a list of all shareholders, but doing anything more might just make it messier.

I didn't realize I was overpaid until I looked at the dividends. I already purchased shares, but i'll watch here for the answer. If need be, I can pay back out of pocket.

I am in a bizarre situation.I was buying shares while you were fighting with this bug, and the result is this:
1 share got the dividend paid twice.
44 shares (the ones I was buying) got the dividend once.
edit: that said, I would have no problems returning that dividend, of course
Hey TAT, I had reinvest checked, not sure if that means it will automatically reinvest the divs or not. If it turns out that you can't reverse it, just let me know and I'll shoot the div back to whatever address you specify. Definitely don't want to double dip on you.

Was it a server side problem? In which case its BTC that is liable.

always bear in mind you can still sell one PT to buy another one, so having a direct export feature is almost pointless.A good point, consider me happy.

Exporting, importing, or conversion of shares is not currently available.

It will not be considered again until the board seat is achieved, and even at that point, nothing is promised in regards to transfers. I have explained the reasoning a few times in the past, and those reasons are unlikely to change.
