if by at this stage you mean reaching $5000 within a month or two then i have to agree with you on that. but it is not impossible to reach that price at all. as stated in OP the current market cap is way lower than what it should be and the potential is there.

At this stage it's impossible to see the price reach $5000 without Wall Street level traders. For that to happen we need billions of new money coming into Bitcoin. Without such traders it's nearly impossible or it will take 20 to 30 years if the price goes up by legit demand from normal users.

I do not see this happen in my eyes, I think the bitcoin can go to the amount of 5000 dollar but it will take years for sure.

I think it will not happen sooner but it will take a lot of time and will be around $100 for a few years and after 2020 i think there will be a chance that it will cross the value of $5000 but i don;t think that it will remain there for longer time.

Such a price is not going to happen. At the moment we aren't even at 10% of it. So no it is not something to consider however with any rise above the 1k I will join you to sell some of my coins. Never all since i believe there is so much potential.

5000 is way to huge on the short term.
Perhaps over 5 years. But right now i guess the price will go 500 dollar and stabilize. Just being realistic.

Faucets are fun but that's all their is ot it. If you want ot make serious money you should either trade or lean to trade. Even if the price will not reach 5k, you can and will make a decent profit over a period of 2/3 years.

The bitcoin will maybe even never reach the amount of 5000 dollar, I think 500 dollar is just too much for the bitcoin.
In the future it maybe has a chance if everything will go like it has been planned.

I agree with you bitcoin will really never reach this price because this price is way to high and even if there are many users who uses bitcoin it will still not reach that price.

You are true but a chance persisit there that one day it will reach that amount, if not permanent or if not for a long period then maybe a spike occur at that point. No one knows about it but a strong hope is there among all the bitcoiners here, we have to be positive always.

Its one thing to compare the market cap with gold and bitcoin. But the question remains is despite the market cap, the fulfilled buy orders to make up that volume to back up that market cap is more concern.

10 years time we can be at $2,000 as a median price if lucky..
