I don't imagine anything else that you'll be able to get for free or pennies and then value million times more. I just can't. No lottery will ever give you that. I admire the early adopters and wish I've been one of them, unfortunately no "friend" told me about it and I only joined in 2013 when I've found about it alone, still not bad but could have been better.

Bitcoin has been a silver lining for many people who want to get rich. And many people who have been HODLing for a long time have already become one. And I think Bitcoin is still a big opportunity for investors. The key point is being patient and even waiting for some years if necessary.

Of course, what currently exists with Bitcoin is a unique opportunity, in fact, a person who has savings and bets to put it in Bitcoin is much better than starting a traditional business that will give an ROI after 3 years, while Bitcoin can give you an ROI in less than 3 years at Hodl.

Many still do not see the potential, but when a traditional business is set up, they expect an ROI of at least 15-20% and with work of at least 12 hours in a row getting up early, exposing themselves in this pandemic and fighting against the restrictions and confinement that exist global level, and this percentage of ROI is made in Bitcoin quickly, in fact, it is a great time for investment.

If you were in since 2013, you would have made a lot by now if you kept the faith all the time. Even if you bought at the top, you would have made a decent amount or held a decent lot of bitcoin after all these years. It's never late IMO, though I do agree that it is indeed once in a lifetime chance to get in so early and stay all throughout this years. While most of the early adopters are gone by now, those who managed to pull through and are still at it by now are really impressive. If I had known bitcoin a lot earlier than 2014, perhaps I would have been one of the whales but eh, that's just wishful thinking by now.

Bitcoin is a life-changing opportunity for anyone who bought it at a low price that is safe to make a profit when looking at today's value. What if you buy Bitcoin today and it drops in price tomorrow? I call today's price the risk for tomorrow. So remember to buy at a low price and sell at a premium. Please do not bury your belief in anything as it may harm you. There should be principles in every transaction to ensure risk.

The OGs don't care about short time price fluctuations, because such price volatility has been existed since bitcoin started. Tongue Timing the markets will end you up with less bitcoin than you initially have if you don't know what you're doing(whereas most people don't).

There's no need to be greedy and to focus on what didn't happen. Bitcoin is still here, it's still rising and, more importantly, it still offers to have money and make transactions without the help of a bank and without using a national currency. It also still allows to avoid the inflation which is necessary for fiat to function properly, and allows to have money which cannot be traced back to your real identity if you're being careful. So it remains a great invention of humanity and possibly a good investment opportunity for those willing to take the risk.

2013 was still a super great year to start investing in Bitcoin. The price is super cheap compared today and even knowing Bitcoin that year would trigger you to also know altcoins that would be the tops in the ranking. I started in early 2017 so you're really fortunate to know Bitcoin at that year. But still, the fact that we are here, knowing what Bitcoin is, is still a fortune for all of us. Those who don't know Bitcoin are the unfortunates.

Since you have been here 2013, you must have a ton of BTC you've experienced that 2017 bullrun which gave you more opportunity. When BTC started, only few started listening and understand it. They were the ones who truly are the early adopters, they are the ones who got the first opportunity. The ones who come in after the first bullrun in 2012 I think, this is where the new believers started coming in to collect BTC.

Bitcoin is really special thanks to its incredible price level (of course it's not the only thing makes it different from other cryptos  Grin). And its adoption also is going on very positively. But I'm not so sure about whether we could see another crypto do the same or maybe even better in the future.

Besides, I also discovered Bitcoin after a very long time it was released. But I never think as "it is too late to invest into it, get rich" etc. . We don't know which level we will see the price reaching in the future. Maybe 500k, or maybe 1 million dollars...  Grin

It seems that from all the friends above I am the most recent to know Bitcoin. 2015 I know Bitcoin Maybe the price is very expensive in my opinion because at the time I just graduated from college. But at the time I was sure that with my capital I could multiply it more than 10 times. Maybe a little regret that I am not the holder.
Regarding learning and opportunities due to the very high votality of bitcoin an said to be an opportunity, I totally agree. Seeing Bitcoin is seeing the future. I have read from the Bitcoin.org  that the probability of bitcoin failure is less than money due to the predetermined amount of supply. Apart from that, it is supported by the confidence of big investors like Tesla, Paypall, etc., which makes me even more confident it is a long term opportunity.

and our task today is only to continue the long road of bitcoin, from generation to generation. until they get to know more closely what Bitcoin is and its future uses. The beginning of bitcoin arrival was already a point where we couldn't be there at the time, and what we need to do is to remain a part that continues to introduce bitcoin to our descendants. at least with the financial education that finally brought them into contact with bitcoin.

You have to accept the truth that you were not one of the early adopters and appreciate what you did in the past. 2013 still a early year for any investor. Many people who join the 2020 rally still earns a huge amount of money. And they are obviously optimistic about the current situation of cryptocurrency, blockchain and NFT

I was sudden find the existence of bitcoin while reading some stuffs about deep web and things related. I think it was around 2014. Although I lose a big amount of money, I never regret because it gave me a lot of opportunity and experience in which I believe no one can teach me.

LOL. Found it in 2013 and you still blame the friends?? How many friends did you tell about bitcoin. Not just bitcoin, people who have been in crypto since that long have made money not only from bitcoin but from all the other phenomena that sprung up around it.

Still, people from 2013 are surely better off than people from 2017 like me. It is obviously one of those crazy lucky bastards who forgot about a 100 BTC and re-discovered them when it hit >10K. So many sold along the way that I don't think there are any accidental millionaires. Most of these people probably had the smarts to end up rich anyway. Take the Winklevoss twins for example. Weren't they the ones that Mark stole the idea of facebook from?

I also would enlarge the definition of that "opportunity" to not just bitcoin but to crypto in general.

At the same time, don't let that get in the way of you getting in now. It's never too late, that's the singular lesson of the past 12 years. Missed the 2010 boat? So did 99% of us. Missed the 2014 boat? So did 90% of us. Missed the 2017 boat? So did the majority of us. Missed this 2020/21 boat? So will 99% of the world.

Don't keep letting regret get in your way =)

Not all early adopters keep their bitcoin safely. Many of them lost their bitcoins by losses of private key, hard disks, passwords, hacks (on exchanges) or from stupid tradings.

It is very common to hear stories that I used to own 10, 100 or 1000 BTC and now I only have one tenth of that amount. I would have been a billionaire if I had not lost my bitcoin.

I knew (just knew vaguely) about bitcoin many years ago. I don't remember when but a bit later the Mt. Gox hack. Back in that time, local newspapers (under control and censorship of governments) use the term "virtual currency" to mention about bitcoin. That term and the huge loss from Mt. Gox keep me stay away from bitcoin. I did not spend 30 minutes to make my research about bitcoin. My deeply regret honestly.

It's definitely a once in a lifetime opportunity. One of those internet-like life changing new inventions that we're really fortunate to have the opportunity to watch it grow from nothing to now being an asset held by institutions.

But yea, I wish I found out about it earlier as well, but I was the first to learn about it in my circle of people so yea; I'll definitely take what I can get. Also taking note that if I read about it pre 2016, there's a good chance that I might've ended up just laughing at it due to my ignorance and due to the far less beginner content people had before, compared to today.

Even in 2020, there are a lot of people who recently found bitcoin and I would say that they are not late as well. We can say that they will be a bag holders in the next 10 years or so. You joined in 2013, so you are still consider on lucky guy if you have bought bitcoin that time and remain a holder. Definitely, for majority of us, bitcoin or crypto in general is a game changer. The potential to become a self made millionaire is there.
