Just notice about this coin again I forgot due to low interest of the people into this fork. Is there any place to trade this coin and to make sync faster the core wallet. Any online wallet service available to use for storage?

Hi,

Ran into some trouble.
I'm new to BTC2 so I had no relevant software prior.
I installed the latest version 2.1.1 but it didn't work. It showed the startupscreen with logo for like 10 seconds and quit.
Uninstalled it and installed the previous version.
This one did work and I let it synchronise completely.
Then I installed 2.1.1 again (without uninstalling the previous).
Ran it and totally worked, fully synced.

Then I imported a privkey.
Took a while rescanning and then it quit, no message in the console.
No balance either.
The privkey did hold funds at time of fork.
Tried another one and again no result. Balance 0.00 BTC2

Someone have an idea?

new wallet is out guise  Smiley

Version 2.1.1 Change log:

  • Added a secondary DNS seeder and updated the fixed seed nodes.
  • Sometimes when trying to spend zBTC2, the coins were not able to be selected automatically. That has been fixed.
  • Removed some unnecessary debug logging.
  • changed MAX_BLOCKS_IN_TRANSIT_PER_PEER from 16 to 44.
  • zBTC2 autominting is now ensured to be disabled by default.
  • Updated the QT wallet’s “Pay only the minimum fee” feature to use the actual current minimum fee.
  • Options – Preferred automint denomination and debug commands now display the zBTC2 denominations in BTC2 instead of in cents.

How can I update my Bitcoin2 wallet? Is it okay to just uninstall it?and install the new updated version of the wallet? I'm losing my BTC2

Just download the newest .zip/tar.gz file and copy the executable files in the bin folder to replace the ones you had installed already.

No need to touch any other files than the .exe files that you already had installed. You won't lose your BTC2 for as long as you have your Wallet.dat file safe.

Updating from 2.1 to 2.1.1 is optional but recommended if you felt that you had any issues with the previous version.

hi, jackleszz, what's the expected benefit per day by running a masternode?

Total pool of rewards for masternodes is around 288 BTC2 per day so they get that much divided by the number of masternodes online. (25% of new block rewards). Right now, with only 3 masternodes online, each one gets about 96 BTC2/day (288 / 3 = 96).

Developer, how many masternodes are planned? Or is the quantity unlimited?

We can't control it since anybody that has that many BTC2 can choose to run a masternode. Limited only by the number of BTC2 in circulation.. Although the circulating supply is in practice much less than that of Bitcoin because only a small portion of BTC2 from the fork has been claimed. So that is just based on supply and demand. If some day in the future there's too many masternodes, then staking with the 1000 BTC2 is more profitable than running a masternode.

Undoubtedly a good profit, but you can definitely tell when the cost of bitcoin 2 will be known, 100$ or 100Satoshi Huh

Before exchange listing only by private sales. You could try posting in our subreddit.
