Have you restarted your computer, I get problems like that when my machine has been on for a while?

Yes, have been restarting the computer, too.  Cry

That's very mysterious. Try restarting your router.

Teleport is referring specifically to funds: anon transfer. Telepathy is the whole system of anon communication.
I suppose it's a bit like the difference between 'give' and 'talk' (caveat simplification).

Okay that makes more sense. Thanks for the explanation.

People need to stop calling every criticism an attempt at FUD. Sorry to say it, but there are a lot of ass kissers around here. It's good to have some people take a step back and question things every now and then.

BTCD was released 3 months ago.

People need to chill out about short-term price.

Everyone freaks out and starts attacking the btcd team because some whale decided to dump 5000+ BTCD all at once on bittrex yesterday?  This short-term price swing was the work of 1 whale dumping, it's not the kickass btcd team's fault that some whale wanted to cash out a chunk of his/her holdings.

I (one person) could drive the price down below .004 temporarily today by dumping if I felt like it.  Would everyone freak out and start attacking team btcd if I did this?

The foundation that has been laid for btcd and supernet over a 3 month time period is very impressive so far.

James in the last three months has done more than three years of useful work. He works 12 to 18 hours per day without any expectation or specific request and all investors are only the creditor .
This is very ridiculously. Sad

Hi all,

I have difficulties in syncing suddenly. Have tried to delete files in the bitcoindark folder (%AppData/Roaming) except bitcoindark.conf and of course wallet.dat.

Keep getting 0 active connections to the network.

Other coins sync just fine.

Any tricks?

No tricks from me sorry but I am now reconnecting so I will let you know if I have any problems.

Thanks, just tried to delete the entry in the firewall and re-add it, no luck either with that  Huh

I had no problem reconnecting, got 4 connections and it up dated about an hours blocks in just under a minute.

Thanks for updating me! I will let the wallet be open for a couple of hours and see what happens. I used to get the same as you, connections immediately.

unfortunately still no connections. I wonder what has happened suddenly. It worked fine, yesterday.

When the price is high only those with the means to obtain coins at a high price will be able to, which to some extent will limit the amount as well as caliber of users but when the price is low then a more diverse group can obtain them as well as more of them, so perhaps it is good to keep the price down to broaden the user base. Perhaps at this point in time it is better to have lots of cheaper coins slushing around to get more users involved because there are always going to be users who will horde their coins for accumulation from staking, especially those who cannot get enough in the first place.

Also if we are honest about this, it doesn't matter what the price is at the moment if we have faith because as soon as the tech is functional they will rapidly become very precious.

As has been said a millions times already, the more cheap coins about the more I can get into my own wallet, the better off I will be when the tech happens.

James is doing a great job plus he has a stake in getting his bonus as well as deserving a medal, even if only for all the writing he does in ordinary text never mind the coding.

An old Chinese proverb says, (He who believes something cannot be done, should not interfere with those trying to do it.)

A bit of music for the trolls, ha, ha.

And my wallet has just staked, great.

I love the proverb.  I might have to get it tattooed somewhere.

Cool, my favorite is (Success is a journey not a destination.)

I am into BTCD from the first second. I mined in PoW and I bought at high prices like 0.0138 etc
I see the tickers on my cell phone and I see the price falling like 40 days. I have never sold a single btcd and I have full faith on it.
Those who dump it are those who hate it and they bought it just to dump it. As much as they dump it, they are not hitting it but making it stronger.
Thanks for offering us cheap coins! ! !  Cheesy
Thanks for your patience. you are my friend  Cheesy
