BitcoinDark by xpool - The Official BTCD Multipool

PROP reward system
BTCD Payouts
Scrypt & SHA256 & X11 Algo's
DDoS Protected
High Performance Backend
Simple setup and usage
1% Fee
To mine:

How does it work?

xpool offers 3 different sets of coins to mine. SHA256, Scrypt and X11. Each algorithm runs on a shift (see below). The confirmed coins are traded throughout the duration of the shift automatically to maximize the profits from exchanging them into BTCD. Once the shift ends, the shift is moved into "Confirming" status while all the coins are confirmed as successfully traded and exchanged, the BTCD payments are sent.

Current shifts run 24 hours, Monday - Friday and end at 7PM Eastern each day except Saturday & Sunday. The weekend shift ends on the Monday. Payments are then finialized and typically complete 2-3 hours after a shift ends.

The advantage of the pool is that you can utilize your any GPU, CPU and older ASIC equipment to earn you the more desired BitcoinDark.
Cheers and Happy Hashing!

Donations welcome or tip me, crackers, on IRC!

Any issues, please report them here or feel free to PM me, as I can't always see every post.

Today's shift payments have finished. Over 299 BTCD sent out to miners on all 3 algos!

Cheers!

@James , go to sleep please :p
Just starting to get rolling, I want to get the onion stuff done today
Been wanting to get the order matching done for sooooo long

Anyway we are close to the $1 mil market cap target that is reasonable for a coin with potential. I think to go to the next level BTCD will need some software at least in testing.

Oh...

I see what's happening. I wanted to stay under radar for a bit longer, but I guess too late for that.

By volume: Bitcoin, Litecoin, Monero, Viacoin, Dogecoin, BitcoinDark, ... Darkcoin at #13

Trade volume is actually a lot more important than price. This level of activity indicates that thousands of people are trading BTCD. While it will create roller coaster volatility, at least people know about BTCD and what we are doing.

I was going to have a test bet about if BTCD would get to top 10 this year, but at this rate I am afraid it will get to the Top 10 before I finish Privatebet!

LOOKS LIKE BITCOINDARK MULTIPOOL IS NOW btcd.xpool.ca

Both addresses will work. Just changed it to be btcd centric and not "dark".

Cheers!

Awesome. Hey some people have been wondering about the payouts? It seems they haven't been getting them.

They have been. They are just impatient. Smiley

Thanks  Smiley

Looks like we might test .001

Cryptsy has already blown past that  Wink
More importantly, BTCD is now #7 on 24-hr volume!
http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/volume/24-hour/

I was a bit concerned that after the mining inventory was gone that trade volumes would drop, but the opposite happened!

I think we are onto something here Smiley

James

P.S. Got the easy half debugged, the basic discovery and negotiation of public keys between privacyServer and client. Now comes the tough part of encrypted onion routing. Much fun!

Hi James,

I have an error linking pNXT.  If you're happy to discuss the issues here than ok, but I'll use pastebin for the errors otherwise it's going to get bloated here really fast Smiley

http://pastebin.com/n2XTYd81

Installed boost 1.54 which is the default on ubuntu 14 and I now see a comment that 1.54 should not be used.  however it looks like the only version available on Ubuntu 14 Sad
It should be ok to use 1.54, I havent seen any problems with it

make sure you have clang installed
from the pNXT/src directory do a:
./m_unix

that should make pNXTd in the pNXT/src/src directory

Kind of a mess, but I just used the existing make structure

I'm almost 100% it will pass DRK at some point.

Really see potential here. The good thing is that not a lot of people want to sell their stash, even at these prices Smiley

Also a plus that that there are multipools for BTCD. It keeps te price stable.
